Dear Brother Knights and family, April has arrived and with it the Lenten din-ners, Holy Week, and KOVAR fund raising. I would ask that you invite a someone who you have seen in a while to an event. Lent is a great time to reconnect. This last month has remained true to being the busiest for our council. I would like to thank all those who helped with their time and dealt with all the challenges to make our Council’s March’s events successful. Also – with Easter on the third Sunday of the month, Sunday Breakfast for April will not take place. As the Lenten Season progresses, I would offer Pope Francis’s words from his Lenten mes-sage, “May the Holy Spirit, through whom we are ‘as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing everything’, sustain us in our resolu-tions and increase our concern and responsibility for human destitution, so that we can become merciful and act with mercy.” Vivat Jesus Bill Duncan Deputy Grand Knight
