Goals & Ambitions

It is my senior year of high school and I am so excited to embark on all the opportunities that life has waiting for me. Some of these opportunities include being selected as a participant of the USSYP and attending the prestigious Howard University. I plan to major in political science and minor in Spanish at Howard University. I love the Spanish language and feel as if it would be a great asset to what ever career choice I make. After graduating from Howard University I hope to study law at the Duke University Law School. My ultimate career goal is to become a lawyer and start my own law firm.

What is It?- Locopops is a Gourmet Popsicle shop that specializes in making Mexican style popsicles called paletas. They sell a plethora of tasty but bizarre flavors.

What Skills Have I Gained?- By working at Locopops I have gained skills that allow me to communicate well with almost any person and personality.

What is It?- Shodor is a non profit organization nationally recognized for its work to advance mathematics and science education. Shodor offers interactive online tools that are used by educators and students across the U.S. – even internationally.

What Skills Have I Gained?- By working at Shodor I have gained advanced computer skills and I am up to date on society's newest technology.

What is It?- Prestige is the nation’s leading high school photographer. Prestige specializes in senior portraits.

What Skills Have I Gained?- By working at Prestige I have mastered the skill of customer service. I understand the proper way to handle certain situations in a business/professional like environment.

Fun Fact About Me: My favorite Locopop flavor is Pomegranate Tangerine.

Light the Night Leukemia Lymphoma Society is one of the primary organizations that I work with. This organization helps to raise awareness and funds to cure blood related diseases such as Leukemia. Last year I helped to raise over $1,000 to support the cause. This year will be my third year participating in the Light the Night Walk.

Experience With Government I have served as a NC
