This site at 2121 Harwood, Dallas Texas sits next to Klyde Warren Park. A ten foot high wall blocks any view to the park from the site on the first floor, leading my design to focus in on itself on that floor. Bringing all of the hard programing elements to the back of the building leaves the side facing the park open for views of the park and changeable gallery space for the museum.

The galleries have a ceiling created out of gridded sections that can be lowered and raised individually.

This will make changing lighting, cleaning, and creating a more intimate, multidimensional,

multifunctional space easy.

The program of the building is densely located in the back portion of the building. This leaves the front open for changeable gallery space, as well as room to move freely and admire the view of the park.

Our sight is on axes with two main performance spaces of Verona, the Arena and the Roman Theater. Using this line and the Roman grid, we radiated ideal sound waves. From each focal point, we offset them with the distance.

The site is located in the citta antica, meaning ancient city. The site sits right by the river and overlooks teatro romano and Piazza Isolo.

The Trinacria is a symbol that relates to Sicily’s history and culture. The three legs are meant to represent the shape of Sicily and its three main capes; Pelorus to the East, Passero to the South, and Lilibeo to the west. This important symbol makes the perfect form of which to use as our additions of platforms to the already centralized rock formation.

L’isoloto is located west of Gioiosa Marea. In the Northeastern part of Messina, Sicily. The sight has two main views to the East (a vertical wall to the town) and to the West (the Tyrrhenian Sea an the sunset.

By creating platforms that mimic a simplified rock shape and placing these platforms strategically with the existing rocks, we attempt to infuse the existing landforms more life by adding more usable space that one can enjoy.

This is a master site planning project to restore a cotten gyn plant on the east side of Lubbock Texas. The site is devided into two parts by railway tracks. The north portion of the site is to become a homeless community to replace the “tent city” that has popped up in Lubbock. The southern and larger portion of the site will become a community complex with low income apartments and a main street feel. Thi site is also home to a already existing Black History Museum.

This hospital in Santiago Chile is being built by a private insurance company named Cruz Blanca Salud. This region faces issues with winter air pollution that produces high intake to emergency rooms. Pregnant women in the region also go to emergency rooms before being admitted to the hospital for labor. The goal was to design an emergency department and an imaging depart-ment layout on the first floor of the hospital with the footprint and column grid of eight meters already given. Using a given number of sixty exam rooms, three RAD, four CT, two MRI and four Ultrasound rooms, I came up with the program and list of other spaces needed. The two departments share a staff space.
