Safe Sitter Class: During this two day course, 11-13 year olds will learn how to handle crises,
keep their charges secure, and nurture and guide a young child. Cost is $50 for advance
registration or $100 the day of the class. June 26 and 27 from 8am to 3:30pm
Help Your Friends Help to restart the Friends of the Library Group!
What does the Friends Group do?
It helps to raise funds to support the library. It also provides an
avenue for communication between the community and the library.
What would be funded by the Friends Group?
Some possibilities include more technology, library programs, and
an addition to the building.
How much time would I contribute to the Friends Group?
The initial set up would require the most time. After everything is
in place, it would only require a couple of hours a month.
Can I put it on my resume?
Absolutely! Volunteering looks great on a resume. It provides experience in several different areas, while
showing your devotion to your community.
Interested in volunteering? Ask for more information at the library.
