SURVEY

O Great for graphs, first day of school, debates, introduction to lessons

O There is no “right” answer!

Create as many survey questions as you would like, with up to four answers in

each.  Use these answers to create

graphs in the classroom, or use it to

give students a chance for

metacognition and reflection. See my

example of A Few of My Favorite Things

.

DISCUSSION

O Great for debates, discussion, Kagan activities, project based learning

O There may or may not be a “right” answer.

Create one question, then allow students 5-

120 seconds to answer.  Keep in mind,

there will be discussion time before choosing an answer.

You may add an image/video to your question.  See my

example of Newton's First Law of Motion.

QUIZ

O Great for quick quiz, formative assessment, review, pre & posttest analysis, etc.

O There is a “right” answer.

Create as many quiz questions as you

would like, with up to four answers in each.  This could be used to input answers from a test (much like Smart Response), or even

better, to give a quick quiz using technology.  See my example of Multiplication by 7.
