Participating and Partner Countries

Partner countries:

• Countries financed byexternal instruments

• about 150 countries

Participating countries (34):

• EU Member States

• Enlargement countries: Turkey, Iceland, Macedonia

• EFTA countries: Liechtenstein, Norway

Participation of Partner Countries in KA2 projects?

• Cannot apply for grant support, but can participate in Strategic Partnerships as a partner

• experts will assess the extent to which the involvement of a participating organisation from a Partner Country (ie. a non-programme country) brings an essential added value to the project

• If not convincing evidence of such added value "weak" against the award criterion "Quality of the project team and the cooperation arrangements" as a whole.

• As a consequence, the proposal would be rejected.

Eligible participating organisations (Strategic Partnerhips and Knowledge Alliances), eg.

• Higher education institution (ECHE requirement!);

• A school /institute/educational centre;

• a non - profit organisation, association, NGO;

• A public or private , a small , medium or large enterprise;

• A public body at local, regional or national level;

• A social partner or other representative of working life, including chambers of commerce, industry, craft/professional associations and trade unions;

• A research institute , a foundation;

• A cultural organisation, library, museum;

• A body providing career guidance;

• A body validating knowledge, skills and competences;

• A European Youth NGO…

Dissemination of results and sustainability

• Erasmus + project outputs must be freely available (Open access Requirement)• Publicity, digitalization, open license principle, distribution via the

Internet

• enables wider community to benefit from work that hasreceived EU funding

• Promotes organisations’ efforts towards the Erasmus+ objectives

• The project plan should indicate the impact of the project:• to whom? where? how?

• how to identify and measure the impact

• A significant proportion (up to 30% of points) of the assessment points is given for impact and dissemination
