The equipment here at WBHB is Gates equipment throughout. The transmitter is Gates Model 250 -C -1 using RCA 810's push -pull in the final, with 2O watts. The Modulators are also RCA 810's class B.

program. Your report was accurate and this is to verify your

reception of our station.

Sorry there was so much qRM and static. The broadcast was

a success though, with reports from most of the States ,

Canada, and New Zealand.

We have 250 watts feeding into a 200 foot series tower. Our

equipment is entirely Gates. We use two 810's in parallell

with a pi network. Our primary and secondary is suprising

for our power and frequency...,..roughly 25 and 50 miles.

Cornelia is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge

mountain with a population of 3500 people. The climate

is Ideal here year round. Fishing and Hunting XX are

both very good here with many lakes to pass the summer

months.

Thanks you again for your report. It was pleasing to recieve

so many reports. Success to you and your club.

Yes I was Chief hngineer of WKNB in New Britain, Conn. for several years so if you have a verification card from them it is likely that it is signed by myslf. I still have a connection with that station and will probably be going up there soon for a couple of weeks vacation.

At 3:49 we did make a station break but the title of the selection was BEER BARRTI:L POLKA, and not Elmer ' s Tune. If you can recall that tune, I will be glad to confirm your report. For the life of me, I can not remember how Elmer's Tune sounds. If you can identify the piece as the BR BARRML POLKA, I will be glad to forward our confirmation by return mail.

We intend making another test broad- cast sometime in February, and I will start this one at 4 :15AM E. S. T. as I believe KF' ?B will be off the air by that time.

that you were tuned in Oct. 13. Your report was pretty garbled

due to picking up KXRJ, Russelville (Little Rock) Ark. with t14ei

that damnable tone it sends out all the time, and some other station

who signed off 33 minutes before my freq check was over.

All noArn reports said that our signal faded out at

301AM, altho we were on the air until 334AM. Where our si, "mal

went to then, goodness only knows. Only other report was from

from some guy who lives a 2 mile away from the xintr. who fell

asleep at regular sign off time and was awakened b :- his radio

that was left on. Big deal!

Bye now and lets hear from yuu again!
