nowhere I can go and no cir-cumstances I can face that will cause Him to leave me.

Friday: Direction I can rest in Proverbs 3:5-6, which tells me that if I trust the Lord with all my heart, don’t lean on my own understanding, and acknowledge God in all my ways, He will direct my paths. I also get excited to read Psalm 84:11, which says, “….no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly.” If I’m walking with Him, He will bring into my life those things that are good for me.

Saturday: Provision I’ve made it through another week! I can look back and see what God has done and praise Him for it. “But my God shall

supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus” from Philippians 4:19 lets me know that not only does God know the needs in my life, but He has the re-sources availa-ble to meet each and every one.

I want to make a habit of rec-ognizing God’s promises as they’re fulfilled in my life. If you journal, you could desig-nate a page for writing down the promises of God you see fulfilled in your life each week.

What’s another promise of God that’s meaningful to you?

We pray you are enjoying your family safely at home. We en-courage you to stand firm in the Word of God and in the power of His might. We can and will make it through this pandemic.

Do you know that God is al-ways thinking about you? His Word in the Holy Scriptures tells us of the many Promises He has made to us as His peo-ple. How many times have we made promises that we could not or did not keep? Isn't it good to know that we serve a God who keeps every promise He’s made.

Congratulations to our Class of 2020 Graduates!

We Celebrate, Appreciate and Salute our Ministry Leaders! We could not let the distraction of the pandemic keep us from acknowledging and celebrating the 4th Pastoral Anniversary of our Senior Pastor, Gary Foreman, along with his lovely wife, Lady LaTanya. April 10, 2016 marks the Installation date of our illustrious Pastor. It's been a fun ride with creative and powerful Word com-ing forth.

From the heart of our Pastor, he wants you to know that he is

thankful to you for your support and encouragement as a leader and a friend. Pastor Gary says, "We truly love you and your fami-ly. It doesn't seem like it's been that long, but the Lord is so good in that it is a pleasure to have brothers and sisters as wonderful as our ALCC family. The time flies by and we lose track of when because of His joy that flows."

Pastor Gary encourages us to stay humble and safe during this

pandemic. He asks us to keep their family in our prayers.

Due to social distancing, we are not able to celebrate as we would like, but our ALCC Family just wants to shout it from the moun-tain tops that WE LOVE OUR PASTOR and FIRST LADY! We will continue to keep them covered in prayer. We pledge our support and to do the work of the ministry. To God be the Glory!

We salute Christina Bullock, PhD, who

graduated from Regent University on May 9, 2020 where she earned a Doctor of Phi-losophy (Ph.D.) degree from the School of Communication and the Arts. Dr. Bullock is the daughter of James and Runia Bullock. She was born and raised at ALCC. We are so proud of her accomplish-ments.

Shaunah Smyre earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work from Long-wood University. Shaunah is an official Long-wood Alum as of May 16, 2020. Her official graduation ceremony will be held on October 10, 2020 at Longwood University. Shaunah is the daughter of Deaundria Jones and granddaughter to Elder Celeste Jones. She plans to pursue a master's degree in film, radio and television production at Syracuse University.

We are proud to announce that Ashley Joyn-er will graduate with honors from Varina High School on June 11, 2020 at 2 pm with a GPA of 3.8. More details will be given later how you can join the live-stream of Ashley’s virtual grad-uation ceremony. Also, there will be a “Graduation Victory Lap” at Richmond Raceway (RIR) on Friday, June 12 at 1:00 pm. Ashley will start her college education at John Tyler Com-munity College. Ashley is the daughter of Thadeous and Minister Patricia Joyner.

We are pleased to announce that George Thomas, IV will graduate from Tucker High School on June 10, 2020. We’ll email how you can join his celebration via live-stream.
