Juvenile Courts

• There are 159 juvenile courts

– 142 dependent courts – use JTS

– 17 independent courts

• 9 use JCATS

• 7 use Banner

• 1 uses own proprietary system (Glynn)

What is JTS?

• The Juvenile Tracking System, JTS for short, is where GA DJJ, and some of the independent courts in GA, maintains case records on all youth that have become involved in the juvenile justice system.

• JTS is a web-based database that authorized staff can access to enter information regarding a specific youth.

JTS is accessed through the DJJ website by authorized users only.

All users must have a password. Passwords are assigned by DJJ after a user has completed HIPAA training. All users must be HIPAA compliant.

A youth’s file is accessed by using the search criteria.

Once a youth is identified the blue navigation bar will provide access to different modules.
