Justus & Courtney Mize Church-Planting Missionaries to Nepal
Dear Pastors and Praying Friends,
We have had a full month with many blessings from God. Thank you for keeping up with us and praying for us!
We spent a lot of time in Alabama this month and God has blessed as churches have decided to partner with us in getting the Gospel to Nepal! We can’t wait to get our full support and get to work in Nepal!
We were privileged to attend and help host the first annual World Evangelism Fellowship at our home church, Vision Baptist Church. There were about 80 Pastors from several different states who were able to attend. It was a blessing to see all these men who have a heart for reaching the World with the Gospel through their church’s participation in God’s command for missions.
Speaking of events, the Our Generation Conference is less than two months away! God used this event to first stir my heart for missions and call me to the mission field. We want to see God call and use more people to reach the needy places of this earth with the Gospel! It is held at Lake Lanier Islands in GA on January 2-4, 2020. Probably the wildest thing that happened this month was that I had the opportunity to travel to Mexico with missionary Jonathan Anderson. I was able to see the two churches they’ve started and meet the leadership which Bro. Anderson has trained for them. Courtney was a little jealous because she had spent 7 months in Mexico with the Anderson’s before we met and would love to go back.
I was able to see the second church, Living Water Baptist Church, officially organized! It is pretty neat that Courtney was interning with the Andersons when the first church was organized and now I've been able to witness the official inauguration of the second church plant.
I learned a lot from seeing the ministry and asking questions. I can’t wait to see how God will use us to start many churches in Nepal and train leadership for those churches all for the Gospel’s sake!
