What is BYOB?Build-Your-Own-Beta

BYOB was created for our customers! Potential buyers can log onto our website and select the model that he or she wishes to build, then select the accessories and suspension settings he or she wishes. Customers then select the dealer of their choice (If a dealer is not selected, we will assign the customer to the closest dealer to them. An email is sent to our office with all of the information.

American Beta will then send the dealership selected the customer’s contact information as well as a cost sheet for the bike they have built online. It is up to our dealers to contact the buyer and arrange the deal. A $500.00 deposit is given to the dealer from the customer to begin the BYOB process.

We then call our dealer and provide them with a completion date. American Beta then builds the bike to the customer’s specifications. The bike is delivered to your dealership with all of the items installed on the bike along with a special engraved name plate with your dealerships name, customer name, and build date.

Three advantages of this program are first being able to provide your customers with a service that is unique and personable. Secondly, you can quote bikeswith all of the accessories and not have to dwell on MSRP or shop labor. The third advantage is that the customer will receive a discount (as your dealership will) on buying accessories at the time of the sale if he or she does not wish to receive any take-off parts.

FAQQ: Who makes Beta?

A: Beta makes Beta! Since the mid 1950s Beta has been building the world’s finest motorcycles.

Q: Where are Betas manufactured?

A: Betas are designed, tested, and handcrafted in Florence, Italy.

Q: Do Betas come with KTM engines?

A: No. While the 2005-2009 RR models utilized the KTM RFS engine, new RR and RS models now come equipped our new 100% Beta twin cam engine.

Q: How long has Beta been in business?

A: Beta began building bicycles in 1904. Motorcycle production began in the 1950s.

Q: Are the Beta RS Dual Sport and Supermoto models street legal?

A: Yes. RS models are street legal in all 50 states.

Q: Will customers receive a discount by purchasing a Beta under your BYOB program?

A: Yes. The BYOB program was designed for this very reason. We have found that 90% of all serious riders and racers purchase accessories for their bikes after the sale. With BYOB, you get a “package” deal.

Q: How long is the warranty on a new Beta?

A: RR models have a 6 month limited warranty, RS models carry a 12 month.

Q: Why should I buy a Beta over the other brands?

A: Beta offers customers many great features. We feel “The Ride” will sell a Beta.

*Two out of ten test rides is our average sell rate. Let 20 of your good customers test ride a Beta for the day and you may sell 4 new Betas!
