The Short Answer:{sort of}

Traditional paint companies state that one gallon will cover 400 sq. ft.

There are 4 quarts in a gallon.

Therefore; one quart of traditional paint should cover 100 sq. ft.

{We} are not a traditional paint. Our paint goes quite a bit further.

One quart of Junk Gypsy™ Paint or Rachel Ashwell’s SHABBY CHIC® Paint will cover 150 sq. ft.

That means...

1 Quart = 150 sq ft

...will cover my kitchen cabinets one time. 137 sq ft of surface area

1 Pint = 75 sq ft

...will cover a three piece bedroom set.Full Size Headboard 23 sq ftStandard Night Stand 8 sq ft

4 Drawer Dresser 18 sq ft_________________________

49 sq ft

1 Sample = 37.50 sq ft...will cover my dresser.

I JUST MEASURED IT.

Here’s what I did...

It’s 17” deep, 51” across & 32” tall.

Sides: 17” x 32” = 544” x TWO = 1088”(because there are two sides)

Front: 51” x 32” = 1632”Top: 51” x 17” = 867”

ADD THEM ALL UP and DIVIDE BY 144.(because there are 144” in a square foot)

3587” / 144 = 24 sq ft.

Square Footage: total area of the surface of a two-dimensional

space.

Surface Area: total area of the surface of a three-dimensional

object.
