. Hook into Hockey This Thursday 13/12/12 is the final Hookin2Hockey summer development session for 2012. Jordan, Chris and the kids have been having a grand time learning skill on the grass, while the turf is being replaced. “Upright” has become the key word at the sessions. To end the year off, we are having a video and hockey questionnaire session, in the Clubrooms, starting at 5.30 PM. This final session will be held indoors, so there is no need for concern about weather conditions. Sticks are not necessary. This will be followed by a free BBQ/Sausage sizzle for all comers. There will also be a Q&A session for parents wanting to know about next year. All junior players and parents are welcome.

Indoor Hockey Our Under 13 and 15 players have been enjoying competing in the Indoor series over the past few weeks. There is some great enthusiasm and enjoyment being shown in these games, with great support from parents and coaches. The final games for the pre-Christmas competition are this Sunday. The post-Christmas competition is set to run through February and early March.

Future Directions Nic & I, along with Guy, Jordan, Chris Garner and Chris Main, have some new ideas and policies we are aiming to implement next year. If you thought I said I was taking time off, you were right, that was my intention. Members and parents have been insistent I continue, and with Nicole’s support we have decided to help out for one more year. This is contingent on a couple of things. Support from the Club, and support from the parents. I know that as a united group we will strive to see that our great club continues to prosper both on and off the field, at junior and senior level. This Wednesday 12/12/12, the Club’s AGM is being held. Your attendance and support will ensure your expectations for your club, your hockey and your enjoyment will be realised. Please join us in ensuring the future needs of our Club are recognised, addressed and supported. The AGM opens at 7.00 PM.
