JUNIOR HIGH SERVICE ROBOT ROBOT SPECIFICATION: 1. Robot dimension should not exceed 25cm x 25cm x 25cm (LxBxH) at the start. The robot can expand upto 35cm x 35cm x 35cm once the run time starts. 2. Robot can have only LEGO parts. 3. Robot should have only one controller ( EV3 or NXT ). 4. Maximum 4 motors and 3 (lego or hi-technic )sensors can be used. Among the 3 sensors the robot can have only lego colour sensor or hi-technic colour sensor. GAME DESCRIPTION: 1. Robot should start from the start area and the robot should be completely inside the start area and no parts of the robot should extend over or cross the start area before run time. 2. Robot should scan the check box 1 to identify the respective kitchen area from where the food container to be collected. 3. If the colour of the check box is green then the robot moves to the vegetarian kitchen area ( green area) to collect the food container. If the check box 1 is red then the robot moves to the non vegetarian kitchen area (red area) to collect the food container. 4. The colour of all the check boxes will be decided by the referee after the robot is submitted for the run. 5. After collecting the food container from the kitchen area the robot should deliver the food container to the respective colour table matching the colour of the check box 2. 6. GAME RULES:

1. TEAM SIZE: Minimum 3 to maximum 5 participants.2. GRADE: 6,7 & 83. RC, Bluetooth or any wireless controls should not be used.4. ROBOT RUN TIME: 2 minutes 30 seconds. The robots will be stopped by the referee after the

mission run time if its not still in the stop area completely.5. If the robot disturbs any items on the play field other than the mission objectives, penalty of -5

will be given for every play field objects disturbed.6. Referee’s decision is the final.

Mission is complete when the robot is inside the stop area.

Out of 4 storage area 3 storage space will have items(wooden piece) filled before the run time.

OPEN CATEGORY SERVICE ROBOT

ROBOT SPECIFICATION:

1. Robot dimension should not exceed 30cm x 30 cm x 30cm (LxBxH) at the start.The robot can expand upto 40cm x 40cm x 40cm once the run time starts. 2. Robots can be of any make 3. Robot should have only one controller. 4. Maximum 4 motors and 4 sensors can be used. GAME DESCRIPTION:

1. Robot should start from the start area and the robot should be completely inside the start area and no parts of the robot should extend over or cross the start area before run time. 2. The item(5CM X 5CM X10CM WOODEN PIECE) to be stored can be loaded to the robot by the team as per their design preference and robot with the item remains completely inside the start area. 3. The robot should identify the empty storage space and place the item completely inside storage area and any portion of item touching the inner square. 4. After placing the item, robot should pick an item kept in the red storage space and reach the stop area which will have a slope.
