PURE’S SUMMER PROGRAMS & CLASSES!This year we have some new and exciting summer camps offered in three of our four locations! Please take a look at our website for more information regarding our programs. Mark your calendars, and register as quick as you can as our PURE camps are very popular! 2017 Summer Recreational Camps Descriptions:Note: These camps will be offered in Chatham, Lakeshore and Wallaceburg Locations

1st Week Shortened (July 4-7) PURE Moana Camp (5-9 yrs)PURE campers will enjoy all that has to do with Disney’s newest hit movie, “Moana”. Participants will build their own Moana rafts, and participate in many other Hawai-ian themed activities: song, dance and much more. Come

help us search for the heart of PURE Island! Campers will perform a short tropical themed show on their last day of camp for their families.

2nd Week (July 10-14) PURE Slumber Party Camp (5-9 yrs)Ever wondered what a week long slumber party would be like? Well now is your campers chance to find out (without the actual sleep over part)! Campers this week are invited to wear their sleep attire every single day! This week is all about comfort, crafts, activities, singing, dance and fun with friends! Campers will perform a short show on their last day of camp for their families.

3rd Week (July 17-21) PURE Superheroes Camp (5-9 yrs)Campers this week at PURE will discover their super pow-ers surrounded by their fellow super human friends! Watch your favourite superhero movies; enjoy fun super-hero crafts, singing, dance and much more! Campers will perform a short show on the last day of camp for their families.

4th Week (July 24-28) PURE Disney Prince & Princess Camp (5-9yrs)Come to PURE and be treated liked royalty for a week! Your child will learn the proper poise and poster of a true Prince or Princess. Learn to walk, talk, sing and dance just like your favourite Disney Prince or Princess. Students will be encouraged to wear Disney costumes all week and even

5th Week (July 31- August 4) PURE Candyland Camp (4-6 yrs)From chocolate and lollipops to licorice and gumdrops – this camp is all the fun without the cavities! This week students will make candy crafts, sing and dance super sweet songs and watch movies sure to make you feel a sugar rush. Campers will perform a short show on their last day of camp for their families.

6th Week SHORTENED (Aug 8-11) PURE Outer Space Camp (5-10)Get ready for a weeklong space mission that is out of this world! From alien slime to astronauts and space ships this week long space journey is jammed packed with fun and challenging space missions! Students will learn dances and songs from another planet, build rocket ships and other fun activities. Campers will perform a short show on their last day of camp.

3rd Week (July 17-21) Acro Foundations (6-12 yrs)A new intensive camp at PURE where dancers will be challenged with beginner to intermediate level Acrobatic techniques and tricks. Practice and perfect in a safe environment alongside your besties at PURE.

4th Week (July 24-28) Creative Foundations and Choreography Camp (7-18 yrs) CHATHAM ONLYA new intensive camp at PURE that explores the newest and up to date genres of dance. This camp’s main focus is based around Jazz, Hip Hop and Lyrical foundations. Dancers will enjoy choreography from their old-er peers in a happy, safe and comfortable environment at PURE Acad-emy.

A select group of dancers hoping to tap into their cre-ative potential will have the opportu-nity to explore and create during this camp week guided by coaches with years of experience in the dance indus-try. This camp will only be accepting a limited amount of choreographers, so please enroll as quickly as possible if you are interested.

5th Week (July 31-Aug 4) Mini/Junior Ballet Intensive- (7-9 yrs)CHATHAM ONLYA camp that focuses on ballet technique for our dancers that wish to better their dance foundation. Classes will be challenging and struc-tured with discipline to enhance the skill of our PURE dancers.

PIGMANIA ~ A SMASHING SUCCESS!We have wrapped another tour with Education Arts Canada and it was incredible! Mr. Corey did an amazing job leading these talented students who worked so hard on this tour and did such a fabulous job on the stages in Lon-

don, Windsor and Grand Bend. Thank you to Rowan Agar, Sarah-Grace Enzlin, Hannah Ross, Shelby Olmstead, Lauren Matesic, Cate Huffman, Juleena DaSilva and Rori Bennett for joining us on this tour. We could not be more proud of

your performance and devotion! We will be doing a brand new tour with Education Arts next year and we’ll announce details soon!

NEW! EARLY YEARS PROGRAM: BLOOM & GROWPURE is very excited to share with you our innovative, creative, age ap-propriate, and FUN early years program: Bloom & Grow ! This new pro-gram is dedicated to giving your little ones the tools needed to expressthemselves creatively in a nurturing environment. Your child’s early years development is a responsibility. PURE takes very seriously as we strive to nurture curiosity, encourage safe and healthy relationships and foster strong emotional growth. Thank you for entrusting PURE with the privi-lege to learn and grow in the arts with your child. We are excited to see your young ones blossom during these delicate formative years.

Our program is divided into 3 different levels for little ones ages 18 months to 5 years, catering to your dancers age and ability. Our sylla-bus will challenge your child and provide seamless transitions through each level. If your child fits in one of our age ranges and has a willingness to learn, then they are ready to experience our magical Bloom & Grow early years dance training! The Chatham dancer of the month is Jenn Nooyen. She’s an amazing dancer and young lady who is always willing to help oth-ers in class and work as a team.

She’s a great leader and we will definitely miss here when she goes away for school next year.

Our Florence student of the month goes to This month I chose McKinley Burke-Roose. Mckinley is an amazing student! She listens very well and is al-ways eager to learn new moves. McKinley has a great attitude and

really shows a love for dance! Keep up the great work!

Our Acro student of the month is Madison Pedersen. She has proven that hard work has great reward. I can see that Madison works not just inside but also outside of the studio to perfect her tricks and always comes in excited to show me what she has been working on.

As this dance season comes to a close I have seen such growth in Madison!

burg Dancer of the month is Jay-cee Woolman! From day one Jay-cee has shown passion for dance. She is a hard worker, always comes to class with a smile and is a joy to teach.

Way to go Jaycee, we are very proud of you!

Our Lakeshore Dancer of the month goes to Hannah Sarkis! Hannah has been working very hard on her recital dances! She knows them very well and we are so excited to wash Hannah shine on stage!

Our PURE Heart goes to the en-tire cast and ‘crew’ of Pigmania (& by ‘crew’ we mean our stu-dent’s families)! We are so lucky to have had these students join us on this amazing venture. They are not only very talented, but also so committed in every way. We were so proud to show off the skill and professionalism our stu-dents had. Everyone worked so well together and it was a bitter-sweet feeling when we wrapped up the tour.

So thank you to not only our stu-dents, but also their families who supported them along the way! We cannot wait to start all over again next year with another tour with Education Arts! :)
