MULTIPLE MYELOMA ARTICLEDue to our inability to participate in Relay for Life this year, we decided to fundraise tohelp those with Multiple Myeloma, which is a disease found in plasma cells. Throughoutthe month of April and May, Merrill F. West High's Key Club accepted donations of a minimum of $1 for each burgundy ribbon that our club had made to help support thecause. Through this, we raised $329.43. Another fundraiser to help those suering with Multiple Myeloma was our car wash fundraiser, which was held on May 25 at the TracySelf Storage. While some people washed cars, others helped advertise the car wash by passing out yers, holding signs, and shouting. We were able to raise $466.00 throughthis fundraiser, so we were able to raise a total of $795.43 for Multiple Myeloma.

ANIMAL SHELTER ARTICLEOver the summer my friends and I like to go to the local animal shelter. Here we stay for a few hours feeding and playing withthe dogs. It is a super fun event that you can do without yourclub! All you need is to ll out some paper work, and you opena door to many adorable dogs and cats. You should look up the nearest shelter near you, and see if you can volunteer

MANTECA PARADE ARTICLE

It will be in Manteca, therefore it is near both Stockton, and Tracy. I hope to see you all there!

My name is Kshitij Shah and I’m an incoming junior at John C. Kimball High School. I have been a member of our Division since my freshman year, and I now serve part of Kimball’s tennis team and I enjoy watching basketball in my spare time. I am inspired by our division’s commitment to service and I’m therefore honored to serve as the PTP fundraiser coordinator. I have some great fundraising ideas which I plan to put into action immediately. I look forward to guiding our division to meeting and even exceeding our fundraising goal.

Hello Key Clubbers! Have you ever watched a parade before? Even if you have not, what's a better way to start out than to be in an actual parade, while earning community servicehours at the same time? At this event we will be marching in a parade, holding our banner, and more. Breakfast will be provided at 7:00 am, and the actual parade starts at 8:00 am. We will be nished around 12:00 pm. Breakfast costs $5, however, it is not mandatory tobuy breakfast. Please remember to have your school ll out an ERF, and each member must have a Medical Release Form. Please spread the word of this event to all of your members.

Get ready to pump, pump, pump your spirit up because in October we'll let everybody know that we are better than the rest!

"Hello awesome Koi Fish! My name is Thuy Tran and I am the President of Stagg Key Club! I love to serve the community but in my spare time I fangirl over Korean idols (and the four Chinese members). I have goals for both the division and the home club I serve. Since our realignment, our membership has decreased BUT I know we have more than enough spirit to win the spirit stick at Fall Rally North! Also, for the home club I serve, I hope to raise money for all the preferred charities, specically $200+ for PTP! I am determined to bring my WHOLE home club to DCON 2014 and represent D27SOUUUUTH in Sacramento! TEAL HAIR, DON'T CARE. THUY OUT."
