Glacial Lakes Visitor Center Open The Glacial Lakes & Prairies Tourism Visitor Center is open year round in the Redlin Art Center in Watertown for our visitor’s convenience. Starting the Thursday before Memorial Day, it is now staffed 7 days a week by our experienced seasonal staff. If you are in the area or know someone that is traveling through, please have them stop and say Hi! Staffed hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, Saturday 10am-5p and Sunday noon-5pm.
Travel Specials / Packages Many hotels and lodging facilities in Northeast South Dakota offer specials and travel packages. These packages have been renewed and updated for the 2021 travel season. Become a fan of Glacial Lakes & Prairies Tourism to keep updated on recent events taking place in the region. You will find Member event posters displayed and promoted. Each Monday is Manic Monday where one Member event for the upcoming week/weekend is featured. Every Wednesday is Mid-Week Featured Member Day where one Member is chosen at random. You won’t want to miss Thursday’s where we share all event posters for the upcoming weekend! We periodically have prize giveaways to one lucky fan. Prizes may include a free hotel night, attraction tickets, restaurant certificates or gas gift cards. So make sure to follow us on Facebook so you are aware of what’s going on in the region.
