As the summer season finally sets in,we would like to take a moment toremind you of a few things to keep thiscommunity in the wonderful shape it isin, please remind your visitors as well.Firstly, please do not throw trash on theground, or leave it lying around, and ifyou do see any trash around, pleasepick it up so we can keep our buildingsclean. Secondly, please refrain fromparking behind or in front of our buses;they are used frequently and need aclear path to move, and those are alsofire lanes for fire and rescue buses. Ifyou need additional parking space, youcan park near the entrances to thebuilding, or on the opposite side of theparking circle. PLEASE DO NOT PARKIN FRONT OF APARTMENTS! Pleasedo not remove plants, flowers, orvegetables from our garden or gardenbeds. Also, please remember thatsmoking areas are under the carportsacross from the entrances. Please donot smoke at the entrance to thebuilding and do not leave cigarettebutts lying around; we have cigarettecans to dispose of them cleanly. 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and on Fridays 12:30 p.m. - 4 p.m. Call (248) 880-9130.Calling at least three days in advance is advised.
• American House provides free transportation to any destination within a10-mile radius of our property. The bus driver will call you back toconfirm all requests for transportation.
• Unconfirmed requests may not be honored. Medical and businessappointments will be scheduled first.
• No doctors’ appointments after 2 p.m.• Please utilize scheduled shopping trips whenever possible.• You may share a ride to the same destination with other residents. Riders
will be given the van driver’s phone number to call when ready to return.• Van has a wheelchair lift.

Choir PerformanceIt is with great joy that we would liketo report the exquisite performance
given by our very own choir, workingalongside the Detroit Symphony
Orchestra on April 27th. Long into thenight they sang to the Orchestra’s
music, causing awe and tears at thebeauty of their voices. Make sure to
congratulate our performers, and takea look at some of their photos fromthe event. We are so proud of all ofthem, they did such an amazing job,as always. Remember, it’s never too
late to join in on all of the fun!
