From the President

Time goes by so fast. During this time of year, we begin to think of summer, travel, and relaxation. As the end of my year as Guild President approaches, I am filled with feelings of excitement and accomplishment. With fond memories and enormous thanks to each Guild member for your outstanding support that made this year so special.

We began a new Era in our support of the Dallas Theater Center with the move into our new home, The Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre. The Theater Services Committee jumped into action with Adopt n Artist, Meet & Greet, Tech Dinners, First Sunday’s, our Christmas Carol Holiday Event, Off-Stage Outings, A fabulous Spring Tea, and the DTC Season Ticket Campaign calling over 3000 subscribers’ and over $42,000 in subscription renewals.

I want to thank my exceptional Board, Jerry and Karen Zvonecek, Donna Marino, Rocky Ford, Vicki Newsom, Fran Burke, Susan Falvo, Deborah Brown, Linda Betancourt, Sherry Peel, Pat Pace, and Giana DePaul. To my Committee Chairs, Karol Omlor, Ruda Anderson, Rosemarie Marshall, Michelle Mew, Paula Clancy, Nancy Ritter, Gwen Lawe, Jane Gardner, Judy Mathis, Sarah Warnecke, Glenda Priolo and Desni Kramer for your support, dedication and hard work that created a phenomenal year.

It has been my honor to serve as your President. Wishing you a happy summer.

The DTC new main Box Office Subscriber Courtesy Line – 214-252-3927. The Subscriber Courtesy Line is available Monday thru Friday, 10am to 6pm.Questions or concerns at performance time, please call the Wyly Theatre Ticket Counter at 214-978-3911. The Ticket Counter is open 2 hours before each performance and closes at intermission. Guild members receive a 10% discount on single ticket purchases, even non-subscriber Guild members.
