*THE AFFIRMATION OF FAITHWe believe in one God,

the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth,of all that is, seen and unseen.

We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God,eternally begotten of the Father,God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God,begotten, not made,of one Being with the Father;through him all things were made.

For us and for our salvationHe came down from heaven, was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Maryand became truly human.

Page 5: June 19 Bulletin

For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;he suffered death and was buried.

On the third day he rose againin accordance with the Scriptures;he ascended into heavenand is seated at the right hand of the Father.

He will come again in gloryto judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son,who with the Father and the Sonis worshiped and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets.

We believe in the one holy catholic and apostolic church. We acknowledge one baptism

for the forgiveness of sins.We look for the resurrection of the dead,

and the life of the world to come. Amen.

*GLORIA PATRIGlory be to the Father

and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost;as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,

world without end. Amen. Amen.

Arizona WildfiresWildfires are causing great destruction in parts of our state. The Desert Southwest Conference is working with the Arizona Ecumenical Council and other partners to coordinate donations and help. The most immediate need is money. This will help stock the evacuation centers, feed both evacuees and firefighters, provide needed goods and services locally, help with the recovery process, and more. If you would like to help, checks may be made out to Dayspring, indicating “Arizona Wildfires” in the memo line. These funds will then be sent to the Conference Treasurer for disbursement. We thank you for your help.
