“World Literature” is the themeof our World Study. TheStudents were introduced toShakespeare and his book “KingLear“ this month throughdifferent activities andresources. Many students gotpictures of the author andinformation about him to sharewith us. The students read thestory on promethean board ,learnt about differentcharacters in story and evenenacted the story in theirclassrooms. Our newstime wason first lunar landing. Thestudents also wrote notes intheir student planners.

The students worked on the “ Container gardening “ project as a part of CSR this month .

The students formed an anti plastic brigade and collected plastic from School . This will be sent to Shayna Eco-unified where it will be converted into tiles and bricks .

• Old items (clothes, toys, utensils, etc) can be sent to Lajpat Bhavan which resells them at their thrift shop or you can send to Goonj Old note books - mothers international recycles them

• Books and magazines - Jaishree Goyal at H-19, 3rd floor, Maharani Bagh... she has opened libraries for the underprivileged children

Some of the small things we can do to help:-

1. Stop plastic straws - Paper straws, steel straws else ditch the straw totally - each straw takes over 400 years to get decomposed Bamboo straws and wheat straws -Pappco Greenware- 022 22414333

2. Similarly bamboo ear buds instead of the traditional ear buds Order at Bamboo India

3. Carry water bottles from the house instead of buying and ordering bottled water

4. Give all staff a cloth bag or a jute bag and keep a few bags in the car also so we can totally ditch the plastic bag
