We challenge you to go beyond your usual craft style this summer and try something a little different! Whether you’re a card

maker, soft crafter, upcycler or a cake decorator, we hope to inspire you with an exciting mix of crafts. Who knows where your creative flair can take you when you think outside the box! We take a look at expanding our card making skills with various distress techniques using paint and ink on pages 42-43. And if that’s not enough, you’ll be reaching for the tissue paper, both with Lou Collins’ papier mâché dress hanging in pride of place on a card on pages 7O-71, and also with Becky James who shows us exciting ways with tissue paper in our Technique Workshop. You’ll definitely be pushing the boundaries of card making once you’ve finished reading this issue! This month also sees the launch of docrafts’ phizz-whizzing Roald Dahl collection. Here at Creativity, we are duper excited to get crafting with this fantabulous range featuring some of our favourite storybook characters. Finally, we’d like to introduce you to this spiky little fella... Don’t worry, this hedgehog is covered with ribbons and doesn’t bite, but look at all the mischief he’s been up to this issue! You can find out how to make him on page 58. When you’ve finished making your own Henry or Henrietta hedgehog, send us your pictures of the places your spiky pal has been. We’ll be printing our favourites soon!
