What’s New

Jamaican-bred, Grammy-Award winning Inner Circle is one of the world’s most popular and enduring reggae groups. The band’s pop-oriented Jamaican beats and high-energy live performances have a crossover appeal that transcends the traditional reggae niche. Inner Circle has played at many of the world’s largest music festivals, headlining alongside such pop and rock icons as Elton John, Van Morrison, Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, and Carlos Santana.

Inner Circle achieved worldwide acclaim in the 1990s, when their reggae anthem “Bad Boys” became the theme of the hit TV reality show “Cops” – as well as the blockbuster action films “Bad Boys” and “Bad Boys II.” Soon after, “Sweat (A La La La La Long)” exploded on the international charts. The band continues to write, perform, and produce – collaborating with such talents as Pharell Williams, Flo Rida, and Pitbull. In the words of keyboardist Touter Harvey: “The name Inner Circle means family, and that’s what we are. Our success is nothing without warm, genuine people around to share it. Being successful is day-to-day just trying to be happy and keeping it real.”

Mayor Michael J. Ryan, and Commissioners Mark A. Douglas, Jacqueline A. Guzman, Neil C. Kerch, and Joseph A. Scuotto
