Students from Japan and overseas partner universities working as tag teams will discuss and solve problems presented by Japanese corporations and organizations. SIT encourages students to be engaged in acquiring problem solving capabilities, systems thinking, and systems management skills through this problem solving experience. Companies who join this program will come into contact with fresh ideas by working with these young people. This will also allow them the potential to develop human resources for their businesses. Program outline Number of participants: 80 students including 40 from overseas and 40 from Japan Date: Monday, December 11 through Thursday, December 21 11 days 10 nights Place: SIT Omiya Campus, Saitama Pref. Accommodation: Saitama Civic Activity Center (Ken-Katsu) Field trip: Nasu, Tochigi Pref. Scholarship: SIT Scholarship (Maximum JPY80,000) Scholarship will be provided by the screening result. Estimated expenses: About JPY 75,000 Estimated expenses include: session fee, all accommodation fee, round-trip transportation fee from Ken-Katsu to Omiya campus and round-trip transportation fee on the field trip. Participants need to be - able to attend ALL DAYS of the program - in the third grade of undergraduate or higher studies. Foreign students currently studying in Japan are also welcome

- willing to communicate in English and ready to brush up their communication skills

university to Global Learning Commons, Omiya Campus.
