POT O’GOLD PARTY The Pot O’Gold Party will be held Sunday, October 25th, 2015, beginning at 1:00PM, at Neumann Hall in Choconut.

CHURCH SOFTBALL NEWS Our game THIS Saturday, July 11th is against Towanda Assembly of God and will be held at the Masonite Field at 6:30PM. We will have make-up games on Saturday, July 18th. The Tournament will be on Saturday, July 25th. Everyone is welcome to attend any of our games. Tournament time and place will be in next weeks bulletin.

BUS TRIP TO PHILADELPHIA TO SEE POPE FRANCIS We have room for (2) more people on the bus to see the Pope. Please call the Rectory (570-553-2288) as soon as possible if you would like to attend. Please feel free to invite friends from outside the Parish to attend so that we can fill the bus! The date is Sunday, September 27th. Cost per person is $ 50.00 per person. Meals are extra. (Or you can bring a

brown bag lunch.) You may begin paying at any time. Please make checks payable to St. Brigid Parish and place them in the collection basket or mail to the Rectory. Please also note who each check will be paying for.

HALF DAY RETREAT TO BE HELD AT ST. AUGUSTINE CHURCH A Half Day Retreat will be held at St. Augustine Church, on Saturday, October 3rd, from 9:00AM to 1:00PM. The Retreat Leader will be Marilee Beyer. The topic will be Our Blessed Mother. The Day will open at 9:00AM with Mass celebrated by Fr. Cas, Followed by a Lesson, Stations of the Cross as seen through the eyes of Mary, the Mother of Jesus (Stations will be outside if weather permits), Meditation, small group discussions, snacks, and time for sharing. Closing will be at 12:30PM with Exposition of the Holy Eucharist done by Deacon Ken Brennan. Please bring your own chair and snacks. The Retreat is open to everyone.

ST. AUGUSTINE CEMETERY NEWS St. Augustine's Cemetery - no artificial flowers are allowed between May and November. Existing flowers can be found next to the shed. If you have any questions, please contact Joe Monahan at 607-669-4598.

CATHOLIC CHARISMATIC RENEWAL CONFERENCE Our Diocesan Catholic Charismatic Renewal is sponsoring its 33rd annual conference at the University of Scranton on the weekend of July 31-August 1. This year’s theme is: “Father That They May be One Jn. 17:21” and we will focus on unity in diversity reflecting on the call of Pope Francis, “Building the unity of the Church is the task of every Christian.” The Conference will feature a variety of inspiring speakers and uplifting music. Mass is celebrated each afternoon. A well-stocked book/gift store will be available. Separate tracks for Children and Youth are also available. The full-weekend Registration Fee is $50 before July 17 and $65 after July 17. Single-day registration is also available. Commuting and brown-bagging is encouraged, while dormitory housing and cafeteria meals are available at a moderate cost. DIOCESAN COUNCIL OF CATHOLIC WOMEN—DAY OF REFLECTION The Scranton Diocesan Council of Catholic Women will conduct a Day of Reflection on Wednesday, August 5, at The Villa of Our Lady Retreat House, 245 Meadowside Road, Mount Pocono, PA. Monsignor Vincent Grimalia, Chaplain of St. Luke’s Villa will conduct the retreat. The topic is “Devotion to the Blessed Mother.” The retreat will begin at 8:00AM and will end by 3:00PM.
