CULTURAL CENTERTHE DESIGN CLASS HAD TO CREATE A CULTUR-AL CENTER FOR A SMALL TOWN CALLED POUG-KEEPSIE. THE SITE WAS CLOSE TO A SMALL RIVER; THEREFORE, MY DESIGN EXPRESSES A STRONG RELATION WITH THE SITE USING THE SHAPE OF A FISH AS MY MAIN CONCEPT. THIS FINAL APPROACH IS REPRESENTING NATURE IN A MODERN AND ELEGANT STYLE.

Chinatown has become just a market-place where people come to try to find merchandise for affordable prices. It has become a crowded place with a lot of traffic and less space for pedestri-ans to walk. Therefore, the goal of my de-sign is to create a gate with a sculpture that the Chinese community feels identify, and attracts tourist not just for com-mercial propose but to also get a little knowledge about this great community.

The idea of a dorm for students is to create a place where they can concentrate more about college and also have a social life within people of the same field of study. 2. CONDUCTORS AMPACITY FOR GENERAL WIRING IS BASED ON AND AMBIENT TEMPERATURE OF 75°C. MINIMUM CONDUCTOR SIZESHALL BE #12 AWG-CU WITH 600V TYPE THWN-THHN INSULATION. ALL CONDUCTORS INSTALLED IN WIREWAYS TO BE DETRACTED INACCORDANCE WITH NOTE 8 TO N.E.C. TABLE 310-16 AND MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF N.E.C. 362-5 EXCEPTION No. 1. FLEXIBLEMETALLIC TUBING MAY BE USED FOR CONNECTIONS REQUIRING FLEXIBILITY; INSTALLATION SHALL COMPLY WITH N.E.C. ARTICLE 349.LIQUID-TIGHT FLEXIBLE CONDUIT SHALL BE USED FOR CONNECTION TO EQUIPMENT IN WET OR DAMP LOCATIONS; INSTALLATION SHALLCOMPLY WITH N.E.C. ARTICLE 351. ALL BOXES AND FITTING SHALL BE OF METAL, WITH ALL JOINTS MADE WRENCH TIGHT; INSTALLATIONSHALL COMPLY WITH N.E.C. ARTICLE 370.
4. ALL SWITCHES AND RECEPTACLES SHALL BE GROUNDING TYPE, IVORY IN COLOR, WITH STAINLESS STEEL COVER PLATES. ISOLATEDGROUND RECEPTACLES NOTED ON PLANS SHALL BE ORANGE IN COLOR WITH GROUNDING CONDUCTOR CONNECTED TORECEPTACLE AND EQUIPMENT GROUNDING BAR IN ELECTRICAL PANEL.
5. ALL MOTORS SHALL HAVE OVERLOAD PROTECTION; DISCONNECT SWITCHES FOR MOTORS SHALL BE HORSEPOWER RATED.6. FLUORESCENT LIGHT FIXTURES INSTALLED INDOORS SHALL HAVE THERMAL PROTECTION INTEGRAL WITH BALLAST.7. FIXTURES INSTALLED OUTDOOR SHALL BE SUITABLE FOR INSTALLATION IN WIT OR DAMP LOCATIONS.8. ELECTRICAL PANELBOARDS SHALL BE SUITABLE FOR USE AS SERVICE EQUIPMENT.9. CONDUIT PASSING THROUGH WALLS OF REFRIGERATED ROOMS SHALL BE SEALED IN ACCORDANCE WITH N.E.C. ARTICLE 300-7.10.
