The TorahAccording to rabbinic Judaism the Torah was revealed by god to Moses, Jews find 613 commandments within it. The Covenant of Jews

The continuous maintenance of relationship between the individual Jew and god through either study, or prayer repeated three times daily, is the confirmation of the original covenant.

Religious Jews see their celestial reason as being in a perfect world a "light upon the countries" and a "blessed individuals" not "the one way to God". For Jews, salvation originates from God, unreservedly given, and recognition of the Law is one method for reacting to God's beauty.

How ethnicity and culture plays an important role in Jewish IdentityThe Secular Jews, who do use ethnicity and culture as their defining criteria. And there are religious Jews, who do not. Rather, religious Jews define their Jewishness within the context of their Judaism. In this context, a religious convert could feel more Jewish than a secular ethnic Jew. Most observant Jews would say that Judaism is a love story.

Life of religious JewsTo numerous religious Jews, Jewish ethnicity is firmly attached to their association with God, and subsequently has a solid philosophical part. This relationship is epitomized in the idea that Jews are a picked people. For entirely perceptive Jews, being "picked" on a very basic level implies that it was God's desire that a gathering of individuals would exist in a covenant, and would will undoubtedly comply with a specific arrangement of laws as an obligation of their contract, and that the Children of Israel went into this covenant with God.
