production warehousing, and laboratory processes. Eliminated the need for multi-million dollar capital investments.

1996 Led the production department transition from hierarchical management organization to Self-directed team environment. Provided direction and guidance in the process of integrating other functions (Finance, HR, QC and Engineering) in the Manufacturing and Packaging operations.

1996 Implement Capacity planning modules and Headcount requirement/analysis tools. 1996 Led and coordinated all disaster recovery efforts for plant to re-open in two weeks. Resumed production,

added third shift, and even with 30% staff turnover achieved year end production goal on schedule. 1995 Implemented “quick-change-over” systems and techniques in tooling room. Removed non-valued-added

and external activities. Productivity increased from 70% to 85%. 1995 Implemented KPI’s throughout the organization. Create KPI’s forums and tracking system (Microsoft

Access) which permitted departments to share and access metric information. This allowed for prompt and accurate identification, and correction of process errors under the Key Performance Indicators, Right the First Time, and Event Investigation Programs.

1995 Led the company in designing and implementing SMED and TPM initiatives. Packaging change-over time was reduced by 75%. Manufacturing change-over was reduced by 50%; from sixteen hours to eight hours.
