Our clients are mines and other large industrial consumers in Africa. The Jozi Power fleet comprises standard flexible modules that can be used in various power station applications. Power Modules The Jozi Power gensets are each built into standard shipping containers. The containers have been fitted with air intake and outlet louvres and filters that are specifically designed to protect the engine in dusty environments. Each genset container is effectively a self-contained mobile power station, as it includes the diesel engine, alternator, cooling system, 1000 litre fuel tank, silencers, flexible control system, air filters, fuel filters, water-in-fuel detectors and motorised synchronising circuit breaker. All gensets can be controlled and operated either locally on the local control panel (accessible from outside each genset container) or remotely via a central control panel with full alarm monitoring capabilities. All genset packages have the option to be either refuelled locally or connected to a bulk fuel supply and refuelled by an onboard automatic fuel control system. Transformer Modules Jozi Power rents out transformers on their own or they are used as part of our power stations. Transformer type 1: 400V step-up to 525V, 660V or 1000V, 1250kVA Transformer type 2: 400V step-up to 6.6kV or 11kV (Selectable), 3150kVA Transformer type 3: 11kV step-down to 6.6kV or step-up to 22kV or 33kV (Selectable), 5000kVA Flexible Applications The flexibility of the Jozi Power package is mostly defined by its state-of-the art control system. The control package allows the gensets to: • Run as single units or in groups • Synchronise automatically when safe to do so • Be used in standby applications to start automatically when the grid/alternative power source fails • Run in parallel with the grid/alternative power source • Accept high loads in a short period of time with rapid multi-engine synchronisation Independent Power Generation & Power Station Rental Note all transformers can be used in step-down applications if required. Types 1 & 2 include output circuit breakers. The transformer rental fleet are all low-profile hermetically sealed units.

IntroductionJozi Power Limited owns, operates and maintains a fleet of containerised 500kW, 1MW and 2MW diesel generator sets. Our clients are mines and other large industrial consumers in Africa. The Jozi Power fleet comprises standard flexible modules that can be used in various power station applications.

Power ModulesThe Jozi Power gensets are each built into standard shipping containers.

Transformer ModulesJozi Power rents out transformers on their own or they are used as part of our power stations.

Transformer type 1: 400V step-up to 525V, 660V or 1000V, 1250kVATransformer type 2: 400V step-up to 6.6kV or 11kV (Selectable), 3150kVATransformer type 3: 11kV step-down to 6.6kV or step-up to 22kV or 33kV (Selectable), 5000kVA

Flexible ApplicationsThe flexibility of the Jozi Power package is mostly defined by its state-of-the art control system. The control package allows the gensets to: • Run as single units or in groups • Synchronise automatically when safe to do so • Be used in standby applications to start automatically when the grid/alternative power source fails • Run in parallel with the grid/alternative power source • Accept high loads in a short period of time with rapid multi-engine synchronisation

Independent Power Generation& Power Station Rental

Note all transformers can be used in step-down applications if required. Types 1 & 2 include output circuit breakers. The transformer rental fleet are all low-profile hermetically sealed units.

Typical 10 MVA Application

Typical ApplicationsThe Jozi Power gensets are designed to work as single units, but the package really comes to its own when deployed in groups to provide power in the 3MW-20MW range.
