in Droit, Michigan to e late delia and Joseph Moore, Sr. Hewas the oldest of three children.

Joe grew up in Highland Park, Michigan, where he graduatedfrom Highland Park High School and attended Highland Park JuniorCollege. Afterwards he served in the United States Air Force. He workedover twenty years for General Motors and retired on a disability.

Joe confessed his faith in Christ at an early age and attended bothSunday School and church. He was a very kind and generous person. Hehelped his sister and brother financially while they were in college.Everyone that knew Joe knows that he lived a full and enjoyable life.Even though the last few years he was in a nursing home, where he keptthe faith.

He leaves to cherish his memory: a sister, Gwen Gordon(Lorenzo) of Detroit, Michigan; brother, Alfred Moore of Chicago,Illinois; nephew, Robert Gordon (Angelete); one great-nephew, Jalen;several aunts, uncles, many cousins, friends and some great neighbors.

You mustn't tie yourself to me with tearsBe thankful for our beautiful years.

I gave to you my love, you can only guessHow much you gave to me in happiness;

I thank you for the love you each have shownBut now it's time 1travel on alone.

So grieve awhile for me, ifgrieve you mustThen let your grief be comforted by trust;

It's only for a while that we must partSo bless the memories within your heart.

I won't be far away, for life goes onSo, if you need me, call and I will come,

Though you can't see me or touch me, I'll be nearAnd if you listen with your heart you'll hear;

All my love around you soft and clear.And then, when you must come this way alone,
