Business Minors Fall 2012Fall 2012 students will be allowed to choose their own business minorEveryone must have at least one business minorPolicy is retroactive for all catalogs:2007-20092009-20112011-2012

Minors cont. The incorporated minors of Business Administration and Economics and Finance will remain attached to the program of studyThese will only be detached from the program with the completed elective minor section on the back of the upper-division form and a signatureThose minors other that the incorporated will likely require more than 120 hoursBusiness Administration Minor-ACTG

Business Administration Minor

Economics and Finance Minor

Minors cont. The most important rule regarding these optional minors is this one:

You may not use the same course in a major and a minor

If the course is being calculated in the major (MAJ) then you MAY NOT use it in the minorYou may crossover CORE courses

If the course is being calculated in the major (MAJ) then you MAY NOT use it in the minor

Minors cont.Degree requirements stay intact for all majors EXCEPT Business Administration:FIN 3810 or 4110 changes to Upper Division Business electiveECON 4570 changes to Upper Division Business elective
