As Sammie and I went in to each grade, I felt more and more confident. Sammie was talking about the earthquake and tsunami where it hit Japan and the radiation from the nuclear power plant. Afterward, kids were allowed to ask questions. Some of the questions were: how did you feel? Are you friends OK? Where did you go next? The plan was to come back to Thailand on Friday 18 th but the flight was cancelled and we had to leave on Monday 13 th instead. But we made it. I think the third grader was the best grade because they asked a lot more questions and seemed to be really interested. No one seemed to be scared of the earthquake but seemed surprised instead. I hope what we are doing help Japan and people in Sendai and other areas nearby. I hope people are generous and donate their money to help. Jon Jon March

When I arrived at Ascot International School on March 17, I was a little nervous. As Sammie and I

went in to each grade, I felt more and more confident. Sammie was talking about the earthquake

and tsunami where it hit Japan and the radiation from the nuclear power plant. Afterward, kids were

allowed to ask questions. Some of the questions were: how did you feel? Are you friends OK? Where

did you go next? The plan was to come back to Thailand on Friday 18th but the flight was cancelled

and we had to leave on Monday 13th instead. But we made it. I think the third grader was the best

grade because they asked a lot more questions and seemed to be really interested. No one seemed

to be scared of the earthquake but seemed surprised instead.

I hope what we are doing help Japan and people in Sendai and other areas nearby. I hope people are

generous and donate their money to help.
