Guest: Well in my point‐of‐view, I think that when every time awomanispregnant,she shouldalwayshave cleanwaterandhealthyfoods,because the babiesare connectedandgeteverythingthatthemother eats. The baby could die in the mother’s stomach if shedoesn’teatcleanfoods.

R:Whatistheproblemifthereisnobabyorchildinthefamily?

G:Thenonlythe luckyfamiliescanbesupportedintheirolderdays.Butif themotherhasat leastone child, then thatchild can supportthefamilyifitgrowsuptobewealthy.

R:Whatdoyouthinkarepossiblesolutions?

G:Well inmyopinion, I thinkthat the UN andothersocietiescoulddonate items thathelp clean the water, and donate fresh seeds forgrowingcropsthatwillprovidethemotherwithhealthyfood.

InMopti,MalitherelivedafamilyofEive.TherewasMon,thefather,Marica,themother,AbabaandMuntazia,thesmallersisters,andKarazianuto,thebiggerbrother.Atthistimeoftheyearthevillagewaswealthierthanever,andthecropsgrewwell. Butonedaythesunwasshiningdownonthevillagersharderthanbefore.Thecropsdiedout,andtheriversdriedout.TheEishermencouldgetnomoneybecausetheEishhadalldied,(onlytherichhadtheminaquariums.)andthefarmer’scropsweredead.Somestarvedtodeath.Otherswenthuntingbytheshoresmilesaway(becausetheanimalsfromthenearbyforestneededwater.)Buteveryonediedbeforetheycouldreachshelter.Theyweredyingbecauseoftheheat.Noonecouldresistitlonger.Thechildrencouldn’tgotoschoolbecausetherewasnoroof,sotheywouldboil.Thiswentonfortwoyears,andsoontheschoolwastornapart,tomakestrongershedsonhouses. Acoupleofdayslatersomethinghappenedthateveryonehaswantedforaverylongtime.Itrained.Mon,Marica,Ababa,Muntazia,andKarazianutoweredancingoutsideintherain.Asfaraseyescansee,thevillageseemedlikeneedlespoppingupeverywhere.Thewholevillagewasdancingintherain,eventheoldgrandmothersgotoutoftheirhouses,andstarteddancing.Thevillagerswentcrazy,andstartedjumping,screaming,andsomewereevenwhistlingandclapping.Bythenextfewdays,theweatherwasbacktonormal.TheEishermen,andthefarmerswerebacktowork.Becauseofthedamages;thefarmersneededtoworkevenharder. Bythetimetheschoolhasbeenbuilt,everyonedidsomething.Forexample:Ababa,Muntazia,andKarazianutowerebackinschool,learningwhattodo,andhowtoforetellwhyanotherdryseasonmaycome.AndMonandMaricawerebackonthefarm,workingtogether.MonandMaricaweresowealthy,andthefarmingwentsogreat,theycouldafforduniforms,books,pencils,erasers,andpencilcasesforAbaba,Muntazia,andKarazianuto.Theycouldalsoaffordacook,amaid,andatooter.(Thetooterwasforthechildren.)Afterthat,everytimebeforetherewasadryseason,kidsranaroundthevillage,warningthevillagerstogetready.Becauseofthis,thevillagecannowgetready,andmostofall,theywon’tbesurprisedifsomethinghappens,thattheydidn’texpectto.
