F rom a very young age, Siobhan- Marie O’Connor dreamt of winning a medal at the Olympics – and her dreams came true in 2016 in Rio, when she took a Silver Medal in the 200 Individual Medley at the age of just 20. She is now one of Great Britain’s most successful female swimmers, winning World Championship Gold and ranked number two in the world. So we are thrilled that Siobhan-Marie is supporting The WDC BIG Splash Swim 2018. Siobhan-Marie says: “The BIG Splash Swim is a great way to get fit, have fun and improve your swimming, while raising money to help protect whales and dolphins at the same time. I sometimes practice swimming for up to four hours a day, but it really doesn’t matter how far or how fast you can swim because you choose the distance for your swimming challenge. And, if you’re a member of a swimming club, ask your coach to get the whole team involved too and really make a BIG Splash for whales and dolphins.” “I’m asking every young swimmer to join WDC’s BIG Splash Swim 2018 – let’s dive in to make a big splash and raise as much money as possible for whales and dolphins.” BIG Splash Swim 2018 JOIN THE WIN!
