His work concentrates on preparing children to enter a world of professions that don’t yet exist, while creating sustainable models for leading and learning to move schools and districts forward in a digital era. During his tenure as principal, New Milford High School became a globally recognized model for innovative practices. From launching one of the first Bring Your Own Device initiatives in New Jersey, to breaking down communication barriers using social media, Sheninger and his team navigated many of the challenges U.S. schools face as they prepare students for college and careers.
