We were founded in 2009 by two Columbia College graduates with the vision of facilitating cross-cultural exchange between the Chinese and US education systems and raising the bar for high quality, ethical application consulting services. Our company prides itself on maintaining high professional standards, not only with our clients and business partners, but within our team as well. Since the first day, Due West has operated with the belief that our greatest strength lies in our team members and in having a multi-cultural work environment that is collaborative, supportive, and inclusive. With a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences represented, each of us brings something unique and valuable to the table.

Because around half of our staff relocated to Beijing to join Due West, many of the first people they meet and form friendships with are their coworkers. These personal relationships often extend beyond the office walls, with colleagues organizing after-work dinners and happy hours, outings to shows and cultural activities, teams for sporting events, and travel buddies for vacations. Whatever kind of extracurricular activity you are interested in, it is likely there is at least one other person in the office who shares that passion.

Due West has grown out of our scrappy little start-up phase, but we continue to foster an office culture that emphasizes close-knit community. This is exemplified in our open office floor plans, weekly

all-team meeting and group lunches – which serve as an opportunity for members across different departments to check-in and share updates – monthly recognition of outstanding

acts of service and teamwork, and celebrations of holidays and milestones. Furthermore, although we have a team of experienced managers who provide new hires with the training and support they need,

we also maintain a flatter professional experience that allows

people of all positions to learn from each other. Once you join the Due West team, we believe that you are not just a coworker, but a member of a big, caring family.
