    It’s easy to join an OmniJoin meeting! You’ll need to run a small installer

    program to get started. This guide offers instruction for joining a meeting -

    both in Windows® and on a Mac.

    Joining OmniJoin on your Windows PC

    There are several ways to join an OmniJoin meeting.

    By using the meeting ID provided to you.

    You must visit either OmniJoin.com or v7.OmniJoin.com and click the

    Join an Existing Meeting hyperlink, as shown in the illustration on the

    next page.

    Please note that instructions vary slightly based on your browser.

    To join using Internet Explorer® or Firefox® browser, click here.

    To join using Google Chrome™ browser, click here.

    OR

    By clicking the meeting link provided to you.

    Internet Explorer or Firefox Browser - join using a meeting ID

    1 A Password is required only if it was supplied in the meeting invitation

    If joining from OmniJoin.com: If joining from v7.OmniJoin.com:

    1. Click the Join button. 1. Click the Join an Existing Meeting

    hyperlink.

    2. Type the supplied Meeting ID.

    3. Type the Password (if supplied)1.

    4. Click the Join Meeting button

    1. Once you join your meeting using the meeting ID (as illustrated above) or by clicking the

    meeting link you received, you will be taken to the “Launch OmniJoin” page.

    2. In the “Launch OmniJoin” page, click the “Launch OmniJoin” button. If this is your first time

    joining a meeting, the OmniJoin loader will download automatically.

    Once the OmniJoin loader is downloaded, it will install on your computer.

    A Windows permissions window appears, asking if you want to allow this program to make

    changes to your computer.

    Click Yes. The install will finish automatically and your OmniJoin Meeting Room will open.

    Internet Explorer or Firefox Browser: join using a meeting IDor a meeting link

    If using a meeting ID, first follow the steps illustrated above.

    Google Chrome Browser - join using a meeting ID

    If joining from OmniJoin.com: If joining from v7.OmniJoin.com:

    1. Click the Join button. 1. Click the Join an Existing Meeting

    hyperlink.

    2. Type the supplied Meeting ID.

    3. Type the Password (if supplied)1.

    4. Click the Join Meeting button

    Google Chrome Browser: Join using a Meeting ID or a meeting link

    If using a meeting ID, first follow the steps illustrated above

    1. Once you join your meeting using the meeting ID (as illustrated) or by clicking the

    meeting link you received, you will be taken to the “Launch OmniJoin” page.

    2. In the “Launch OmniJoin” page, click the Launch OmniJoin button

    3. If this is your first time joining a meeting in Google Chrome,

    you must install the Chrome extension.

    a. Click Install and a pop-up

    will appear.

    b. in the pop-up, click Add

    Extension to install the

    OmniJoin extension in your

    browser.

    4. Click Download, which

    should appear under STEP 2.

    If you don’t see this window,

    open your “Downloads”

    folder and locate the

    OmniJoinWELoader.exe file

    5. Open (or double-click) the OmniJoinWELoader.exe file.

    6. When the pop-up asks if you want to run the file, click Run.

    7. In the OmniJoin Loader Setup Wizard screen that appears, click Next.

    8. When the Windows Permissions window ask if you want to allow ChromeLoader.exe

    to make changes to your computer, click “Yes”.

    9. As the OmniJoin Loader meeting launches, the OmniJoin progress bar displays the level of

    completion. When the install is completed, the setup wizard screen disappears and your

    OmniJoin Meeting Room will open.

    Joining OmniJoin on your Mac

    By using the meeting ID provided to you.

    You must visit either OmniJoin.com or v7.OmniJoin.com and click the Join an Existing Meeting

    hyperlink, as shown in step 1.

    orBy clicking the meeting link provided to you (if using a meeting link, start with step 2).

    For example: https://v7.OmniJoin.com/join?dn=MEETINGID

    Mac: Join using a meeting IDFollow this step only if you are joining using a meeting ID.

    Otherwise, please go to step 2.

    If joining from OmniJoin.com: If joining from v7.OmniJoin.com:

    1. Click the Join button. 1. Click the Join an Existing Meeting

    hyperlink.

    2. Type the supplied Meeting ID.

    3. Type the Password (if supplied)1.

    4. Click the Join Meeting button

    Join using a meeting ID or a meeting linkIf using a meeting ID first follow step 1

    A. Once you join your meeting using the meeting ID (as illustrated above) or by clicking the

    meeting link you received, you will be taken to the “Launch OmniJoin” page.

    B. In the OmniJoin screen that launches, click the Launch OmniJoin button.

    If this message appears, please continue

    with step 4. If you do not see this screen

    please go to step 6

    This message indicates that your computer’s

    security settings have blocked the loader

    installation. In Step 4 you will adjust your security

    settings to allow the OmniJoin download to

    continue.

    C. If this is your first time joining a meeting from this computer, the OmniJoin loader will be

    downloaded automatically.

    D. Once the file is finished downloading, open your “Downloads” folder and locate the

    LoaderOSX.dmg or click the download icon in the upper left of your Safari browser and look for

    LoaderOSX.dmg.

    E. Open (double-click) the LoaderOSX.dmg file.

    A. Click the Apple icon drop-down and choose System Preferences from the list

    B. In the System Preferences window, open Security & Privacy.

    A. In the screen section Allow apps downloaded from: click the radio button in front

    of Anywhere.

    B. When the pop-up asks you to confirm the change, click Allow From Anywhere.

    NOTE: if the option Allow from Anywhere is grayed out, click the lock icon at the lower left corner of the Security & Privacy screen to unlock security settings. You will be prompted to enter your Admin (computer) password. When you see the “unlocked” icon, you will be able to change the download settings.

    After making security changes, go back to

    step 2 and retry opening the loader file

    (LoaderOSX.dmg) to install the OmniJoin

    application.

    When the LoaderOSX.dmg install screen

    launches, click the Continue button and continue

    with step 7 to complete the installation

    Click “Install” button to continue.. A

    small download window will appear,

    asking if you want to close your

    browser to finish the installation.

    Click “Close Application and Install” button”.

    When installation is complete, go back to

    step 2, and retry launching your meeting (if

    using a meeting ID, go back to step 1).

    As the OmniJoin Loader downloads, the progress bar displays the level of completion.

    When OmniJoin Loader install is complete, your OmniJoin Meeting Room will open.

    Once you enter the meeting room, go through the audio settings configuration wizard to configure

    or test your video and audio devices.
