Recent Contributions in Scholarship, Research, and Creative Activity Composed and recorded piano accompaniments to Leon Lester 60 Rambles for clarinet by assignment for Carl Fischer company. This is due to be published and released in 2010. Publications Rose, 32 Etudes for Clarinet, new edition by Carl Fischer. Includes bundled CD with printable pdf files of my original piano accompaniments and my recordings of the accompaniments. Performances Performed third and fourth recitals (March and September) in series of complete Beethoven
piano sonatas. This consisted of approximately two and one half hours of memorized music. Repeat performance of March recital at the Washington Pavilion’s Belbas Theater, and repeat
performance of September recital at Harrisburg High School Performed Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 1 with South Dakota Symphony. This performance
was a surprise, as I was asked to do at 11:00 am on the morning of the performance. Performed Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 5 with harpsichord solo (first movement) with
South Dakota Symphony at Christmas concert. Performed piano solo in the Haydn Celebration concert Performed works for piano duet with Mary Walker in various locales in Italy and Switzerland Performed Brahms’ Piano Quintet in F Minor with members of the Augustana String Quartet at
SDSU and at Augustana College Performed full recital with cellist Maxim Kozlov in Pierre, sponsored by the Pierre Music
Teachers Association Performed full recital of music for one piano four hands with Mary Walker for the Black Hills
Chamber Music Society in Rapid City. Repeat performance of duet recital in Peterson Recital Hall Performed collaborative faculty recitals with David Reynolds, Nathan Jorgensen, and Emily

To SDSU/Community As program coordinator for the Brookings Chamber Music Society I brought national and
international performing artists to campus for the Chamber Music Series, and obtained

grants through the South Dakota Arts Council and Arts Midwest for necessary funding. I also provided transportation and refreshments for the artists, coordinated program and brochure printing, board meetings, and contracted with future artists.
