We are delighted that the Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce has extended their partnership with the Stadium for a further year. As part of the agreement, KSDL also renews its full Patronage Membership of the Chamber. Managing Director Gareth

MYCCI RENEW PARTNERSHIP WITH THE STADIUM
Phroms Occupational Health Providers have become new partners of the John Smith’s Stadium, in a campaign to increase awareness of their individual and business services, through prominent branding on the flood light pod and online and offline marketing engagement.
Prohms is an established group of qualified health care professionals, including occupational health physicians, specialist practitioners, nurses, occupational health technicians and physiotherapists, based in West and South Yorkshire. With offices in Huddersfield and Penistone, Prohms understands the increasing demand on local industry to manage the health and wellbeing of the workforce, they offer a wide range of services direct to business, promoting and encouraging health
and wellbeing in the workplace and helping reduce levels of sickness absence.
Sandra Babbings, Director of Prohms commented on the news, “We are delighted to be working alongside the Stadium as part of our on-going awareness and marketing campaign. With a reputation for strong partnership support and such high numbers of potential audience members, branding at the Stadium was a no-brainer for us.”
Gareth Davies, Managing Director of the John Smith’s Stadium added, “We want to give a huge welcome to Sandra and her team as the newest partners of the Stadium and we hope she reaps the benefits of the partnership with the Stadium to flourish her business objectives.
The 50 Hospitality Business Management students who attended on the day were offered tips and advice from our experienced events team. This included insight from Project Manager, Annie Marchalle, on her personal experience in the industry and the wide array of
conferences and events hosted by the Stadium. MD of KSDL, Gareth Davies, also spoke with the students about the history of the Stadium and its pioneering position as the UK’s first community Stadium.
The students, all of whom are in their second year, were then involved in a question and answer session with Retail Manager Jason Harvey, who provided relatable insight into his graduate career path and the challenges faced in large scale hospitality.
Annie said “It’s always a pleasure to showcase our facilities – particularly to the next generations of hospitality experts. The Stadium has a special place in the community and the wide range of events we hold – from conferences to our hugely popular Christmas private parties – is testament to that.”
Hospitality students from the University of Huddersfield were invited to the Stadium for advice from industry experts Sodexo Prestige, the Stadiums conference and events team.
