John Lennon

John Winston Lennon was born on 9th October 1940 in Liverpool, England. When he was young, his parents separated and he went to live with his Aunt.

When he was a child

He studied at Liverpool University, but he was a bad pupil. He was always late.

When he was 15 years, he created a rock band with his friends, and his first composition was: “Hello my little girl”. Five years later, a different band sang this song, and it was in the Top 10.

John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and George Harrison were The Beatles.

In a short time, they were very popular in The United Kingdom and gave lots of concerts.

Lennon and the Beatles started taking drugs to withstand the road. They made the songs at night in hotels after the concerts.

When he was young, he loved Cyntia Powell. They had a baby: Julian and got

married. Years later, John met YoKo Ono. He said that she was his true love, and they married.

Lennon's death was tragic. He was killed by Mark David Chapman on 8th December 1980. Chapman shot him five times at the entrance of a hotel. Earlier, Lennon had signed him an autograph. Mark was sentenced to life imprisonment.
