Basic
1. stay closer
together/ON THE LP for SPP and move with the mob
the key is to move wherever the LP goes. if it moves up, move up. if it
moves left, move left. it's simple and it works.
P.S STOP
PUTTING UP CHATS WHEN YOU'RE SURROUNDED BY GUILDS.
2. constantly move
FORWARD (1-2 cells) in a GvG, especially after a slow grace
don't be scared to move up when told to, the pushing guild has the
advantage. constantly moving 1-2 cells takes off a lot of pressure onthe 9 cell classes (chems, profs, snipers) because it makes them harder
to target and gives them an easier range since the guilds are closer to
each other.
we HAVE to start moving up 1-2 cells after they're slow graced,
otherwise it went to waste
another thing is that if you're the ones moving, the other guild will
most likely be the ones taking the most pressure/damage and will move
back. THIS IS

this is how a GvG should go:
MS HW stack meteors BEFORE we start a GvG > start the GvG >
gypsies SG > EVERY CLASS starts pushing up > snipers can easilyget in range for FAS because we're moving closer to the opposing guild
3. battle log
i suggest you have 3 different tabs for WoE:
- the first tab can show whatever you want,
buff log, gear switch, whatever idc
- the second tab should show party andguild chat ONLY. communicate within your party for buffs/fcp w.e.
gypsies communicate in gchat, and sometimes orders are given which iswhy it's important to pay attention to
you can turn on both of these by choosing "party chat display" and
"guild chat display"
- the third tab should show what damage
you're taking. this is extremely useful, especially for front-lineclasses so they don't kill their paladin (thx ant).
PS :And I am tiered of always seeing priests and paladins playing without partywindow
, go shoot urself. Trashplayers.
WoE Tactics:
In general it's a hard part. I'll give you an impression of position
game and tactical moves.

ONE: Building a crowd
It is important to stay in mass like a bigfat crowd. Dont go out of the mass if you dont need to. Shift+click or using a skill while
you are in mass if you want to get in it. A big
crowd means more ppl on frontline which get random ad'ed and dispelled = easier to potup again. The enemy cant trigger a good target. Also wehave several ppl in front to debuff/nerf/kill enemies who are pushing.
Our SPP works better cause more ppl benefit of it. Once our first line
drops go 1cell back and set up a new frontline.
Another advantage is a wide atk zone. It's easier for enemies to
offensive sw or ganbantein us if we are in a line or some ppl are out of
the mass.
One simple example:

Blue+
Environment - Precast area. Up to 4-9 cells range(including AD, Dispell Range, SS Range)
Green
- Defensive Wall of Fogs
Violet- Pneuma
Pink- Offensive SW
Both Guilds try to nerf the other with field skills like offensive sw or
wof/pneuma to protect own members. That's why it's important to have as
much pneuma/wof as possible in front of own LP and as much safety walls
as possible in front of enemies LP. Our Profs might be in wof/pneumaand need permanently support with pneuma, wof, KE.
Hostircal Comparison
ONE: The Wars of 18th/19th Century:
Ok i guess everyone of you knows how wars/battles were in the 18th/19thcentury right?
Army 1 and 2 stood face to face. First the artillery shot, then infantry went to the middle
of battlefield and stopped at 15-30meter in front of the other infantry. the battledrums
started and then they tried to
shoot each other. after 2-3 exchanges of fire the rest of infantry is
ready for close combat, at the same time the cavalry came to rush the
flanks or the reserve.
WoE has nearly the same scheme:
- The artillery is the precast/arrow shower. ppl who rush a precastwithout preparation will die (mostly). In past, both armies were out of
range from artillery (similar to the job of DLP).
- The atker begins to push against the castleholder, they try to start a
short range fight with dispell, ad, ss, lex etc range (similar to the
situation when both infantries are close to each other and shoot 2-3
times).
- Once one of the infantries has less casualties it tries to push the
other and starts a close combat (rush the enemy with champs, sinx, ws,

push in general)
Also the setup of both armies are analog:
- Dmg Dealer in front, support behind
- Building a crowd which looks like lines of soldiers
- Attacking the first line of enemy till they drop
TWO: Similarities and Differences with focus on
gameplay
1. The artillery: In ro, the
artillery is the precast with every skill above 9cells range. Thoseskills have to be there 24/7 including SW/SG/MS/LOV/QUAG/GANBANTEIN/AS.Those skills prevent speed pot rushes and fast rushes in general. Like
normal artillery, they make high splash dmg. The difference is the DLPof enemy. It blocks our dmg and guaranteed the progress, that's why we
need ganbantein/quagmire to stop this.
2. Exchanges of fire: That'svery similar. You try to kill the enemies lines with everything you
have in a special range. In ro, it's the part when you useDispell/AD/SS/LEX/OLP. The range in ro is 9cells and below. That's the
hardest part where most of casualities will appear. You have to
compensate that or try to push with a reserve of ppl (Flagspawn for
example). A heavy difference is the fact about protection skills like
wof/pneuma/KE. It prevents dropping like flies and gives the battle a
higher duration.
3. Close Combat: The last
part which decides about victory or defeat. Champs/Sinx/WS/LK rushing
the enemy and kill the rest of ppl.
4. Cavalry: That's a bigdifference: Cavarly was the neck breaker in every battle. If you compare
it with lk you will see that there is nothing similar. LK's make nohigh dmg and all they can do is status atk or pot'n die. That's why you
need another form of cavalry, for example slowgrace gypsies (kamikaze)
or Sinx or OLP (kamikaze).
5. A general difference: is
the ecall. You can compensate heavy casualities with or create a neck
breaker rush against the enemy. It guarantees a high mobility value
during a fight.

This is a general guide of how each class
should behave during WoE. One should read AT LEAST the obligations of
'ALL CLASSES' and your respective class that you are playing. However
the ideal is that you read EVERYTHING, thus you will have a general idea
of how the guild is behaving.
ALL CLASSES
y Everyone should know how to set up chatboxesy PAY ATTENTION
on negative status, specially SILENCE and CONFUSION. Carry panacea or
royal jelly with you.y Everyone should farm speed potion to
go back faster to the grouping point of the guild.
y Usesmokie card permanently if it doesnt get too much in the way of your
class. If you miss click, use Hide immediately to not get killed.
y Tryto not open chats inside the castle. If a chat is necessary, open it in
a SAFE place, away from the mob.
y Dont leave your duty toask for buffs and link with a chat during GVG. Use /hi to do that.
y Ifyou think its necessary, add HPs, Creators and SLs in your Friend List
to ask for buffs. Do NOT Spam. Ask buffs 3 times in a roll at most.
y Ifyou are asking link through Friends List, say WHICH class are you.
y Tryto have more than one armor with marc card or ED card so you wont need
to stop during GVG to ask for repair.y Every class has to
know:
1 when ask for FCP (any time that the guild isnt in GVG)
2 when your FCP is running out and ask for it before its over.
y Dontgo hunting recallers and other players that got through our defense
point. Well point out which champions, professors and creators will go
after them. Nobody else should do that.
y Try to not stand outor be still for too long. Know when to go back or hide. Dont risk
yourself too much. Try to stand together in the group, taking advantage
of the SPP and of how hard itll be to target you on the mob. Its
important to keep in mind that you cant risk yourself. Attention and
quality will make a lot of difference.

y RO is a game with alot of position bugs. Sometimes you think you're casting skills while onmob but you aren't. Pay attention to your SP, if it goes down then your
skills are correctly going off.y Stay in the LP no matter
what.
CLOWNS
y Keep yourself buffed to use Bragi, Idun and SP Song;using Frost Joker sometimes between songs when you think someones
armor is broken.y ALL songs should be passed on each 2~3
seconds, not ONE song each 4 seconds.
y Hide when youmissclick.
y Keep your Stats window open and watch your ASPD.If you arent under Sunset effect, its your obligation to use that
skill even if the support gypsy is alive.
y Clowns should bein the same party to divide zones where each one will act.
GYPSIES
- Support:
y Keep yourself buffed to use Sunset, SP Song andCritical Song; using Scream sometimes between songs.
y ALLsongs should be passed on each 2~3 seconds, not ONE song each 4 seconds.
y Ifa gypsy dies, she has to inform that to all the clowns, so they can
take over the Sunset.
y Gypsies have to be attentive to useSlow Grace when someone is on our LP.
y Use Slow Grace when anadversary guild is on us.
- Slow Grace:
y Its your obligation to have in the city a SL tolink you and a HP to warp you when you die. No one else will spend the
whole WoE warping you.

y You dont need bless, agi, foods orFCP because that doesnt help a lot in using Slow Grace.
y Useauthoritative badge. Speed potion should be used nearly all the time.
y Alwayscheck if your equips are broken.
y Know well how to HIDE anduse frilldora card. Its extremely important to know how to use Hidewhen you get hit so you can reach the LP, among many other situations.
y Addthe MB professor on your Friend List and ask for Dispell if you get hit
by Slow Grace. Dont rush under the effects of Slow.
Defending the castle:
y Use the flags and do everything to get in the way ofguilds that are trying to break a barricade or attacking us. Try tokeep the adversary guild under Slow Grace.
y Again, use lotsand lots of speed potion.
y Its essential to know the flagsof the castle. Use them as short-cuts and surprise the adversary.
Attacking/GVG:
y Dont use Slow Grace on any guild. Just use it on aguild that clearly will attack us or if we start a GVG with a guild.
y Tryto find a path where you receive less damage and hit lock.
y Onlyuse Slow Grace on guilds standing within 9 cells from us (AD range).
y Asuccessful Slow Grace usually means a successful attack from our guild.
Remember that.
y When we are about to break the castle andit's just obvious that it's going to be a take for us - don't bother
helping around on the emp, just bwing/relog and get instantly on
castle's portal inside so no matter who enters once the castle isconquered gets hit by slow grace.
WHITESMITH

y Keep a separated chatbox window just for party buffsor use another way to easily notice when your party buffs are over.
y Renewbuffs when they are over or when someone who needs them receive aDispell.
y Dont jump on an adversary guild to break theirequips or inflict negative status early on.
y Be attentive torenewing buffs and repairing guildmates that open chats behind the
guild.
y Try to repair the players that get frozen before theyask you to.
y Try to break equipments or inflict status onlyif rival players are in our LP or around the emperium, or in barricades
and runes, what pretty much means being on our LP. Try to reveal
enemies on the LP too.
y If possible, stock items likegemstones and traps for emergencies and to repair the Runes. You are
responsible for that repair and only do it according to the forumtutorials and the orders in WoE.
CREATORS
y Use FCP ONLY when the guild isnt in GVG. When inGVG, SPP creators should use SPP and AD creators should use AD.
y FCPshould be used BEFORE and AFTER GVG. Every class has to know when:
1 when ask for FCP (any time that the guild isnt in GVG)
2 when your FCP is running out and ask for it before its over.
No creator should leave his function just to use FCP. Doing that canmake all the difference between winning and losing.
- SPPs:
y Know how to position yourself correctly.y Spam
SPP faster when an adversary guild is making us retreat or when thedamage is peaking.
y NEVER stand out. If you die, a lot of theother players will die too.
y Stay in the middle of theguild, well hidden. Switch target between frontline and backline
according to your designation.

- ADs:
y Its essential to know how to Hide. If you standout, use Hide. If you get dispelled, use Hide. If you miss click, use
Hide. If you get scarred, use Hide. If you dont use hide, consideryourself dead.
y Know how to walk right after using hidewithout getting stuck.
y Be extra careful with SILENCE andCONFUSION.
y Ignore AD creators and MATK stalkers and focusmostly on paladins and other key classes like SPP creators, recaller
stalker, clown, gypsy, professor, HW and then any class beside ADcreator and MATK stalker.
y Know that sometimes the precastis too strong for you advance and if you do that, one Dispell will kill
you.y Keep yourself moving to difficult the targeting on you.
SOUL LINKERS
y Ideally, separate a chatbox to guild and partymessage, other one to whispers (Friends) and one more to party buffs (in
case of Dispell). This provides you a great management of everythinghappening in the WoE.
y Keep all the classes linked.y Keep
the professors on Kaupe and creators, HW and snipers on Kaite, but
dont limit yourself to only do this. When someone miss click or when a
champion asura a barricade, you should give the due support, besides
supporting the sinx on breaking the emperium.
y Give specialattention to Slow Grace gypsies who will frequently die. Dont forget
Kaupe and Kaite, besides linking.
y When defending, keep Eskaon the barricades. When attacking, use Eske on them.
ASSASSIN CROSS
y Dont risk yourself too much during a GVG (jumpingon enemy LP) until the adversary guild has lost a little bit of its
structure. Taking risks in the very beginning of GVG will only get you
killed.

y Try to stand out and then go back to our LP so aprofessor/creator will try to dispell/AD you and get apart from hisguild. Its important that you know how to move.
y Try to doground control like the champions. That way, we keep our LP on control
and maintain a strong long ranged damage with HW and creators.
y Becareful when the guild is close to an emperium. You need to be alive to
break it.
y You have obligations concerning recallers, scoutand the repair of the runes for being one of the most furtive classes of
the game.
SNIPERS
y You are the main class to reveal players at longrange and the only class that can trap so dont risk yourself with Sharp
Shooting. Usually the only thing that you accomplish with that is your
own death.
y On the other hand, you should use Sharp Shootingto break barricades or when enemies are so close that you can use Sharp
Shooting without standing out from our mob.
y Its yourobligation to have Box of Sunlight.
y Try to reveal everyonethat you can, mainly players that hide after miss clicking or that stand
out for any reason. That disconcerts them and frequently gets the
hidden person killed.y When spamming negative status,
remember that Arrow Shower works on LP so it's best you use it with
silence/confusion and stone (earthen bow) weapons.y In short,
you have to know how to switch between DS, Sharp Shooting and ArrowShower, depending on how the adversary guild is moving and how you can
move.
PROFESSORS
y Energy Coat should be on all the time.- DLP:
y Pay attention to the LP position. It should never betoo advanced or too withdrawn.
y Try to place the LP 4+ cellsinfront of the first line of the guild.

y Move the LPaccording to the guild movement. Ideally, the LP should be placed right
before the arrival of the players. Be attentive and quick.
y DuringGVG, LP should be constantly renewed because of the unending use of
Ganbanteins.
- Dispell: There are many things that this
kind of professor can do. Thats just some of them.
y Keep Wall of Fog on characters in the front line onthe LP, not infront of the LP. People aren't AD'ing the empty, they are
AD'ing your gan'd front line characters so aim there.
y Focusdispell mainly on creators and HW, classes that depend the most onDevotion and cause the greater damage.
y Use Soul Burn on MATKStalkers.
y You can use dispell on other classes (exceptstalkers and soul linkers, which are immune to that), but the priority
will always be creators and HW.
y Pay the due attention tochampions and sinxs if they become a menace to the guild.
y Payattention to use Spell Breaker on the recallers.
y Doeverything that you can to stop the Slow Grace gypsies: web first,
dispell, reveal, everything.
CHAMPIONS
y Its your obligation to maintain lots of Box ofSunlight in every WoE.
y Ground Control! Kill anyone who getson our LP (excluding the MindBreak guild, of course).
y Youcan try to kill someone who is about to enter out LP, mainly gypsies,
but only if you are sure that you wont die.y Help the HPs on
keeping the Pneumas.y Absorb the spheres of champions on a
safe range.

y We wont ask you to stop recaller because weconsider that your main job. Other classes can be established for thattoo but champions are the main EC hunters. If you kill a recaller, or
dont kill him, or if he gets out of your sight, you have to inform thatimmediately.
HIGH WIZARDS
y Energy Coat should be on all the time.y Be

you feel safe to do so.
- Storm Gust:
y Keep the SG always amplified, aiming the front ofthe guild.

y Know that you donthave to hit the whole adversary guild with SG. Just aim to their
frontline and get as many enemies as possible, never forgetting that you
cant stand out.
- Meteor Storm:
y Keep the MS without Amplify, aiming the front of theguild.
y Try to never stop casting MS. The damage and thehitlock drop too much when someone stops.
y Know that youdont have to hit the whole adversary guild with MS. Just aim to their
frontline and get as many enemies as possible, never forgetting that you
cant stand out.

y Know that the closer the enemy is from thecenter of the skill area, more meteors will hit him.
- Ganbantein:
y Keep quagmire in front of the enemy LP all the time.Read enemy LP, not our LP. If it's close to us it's bad.
y Itsyour obligation to know where the SG and MS damage is concentrated andmaintain the GB there.
y Aim GB on the enemies that stand out,to take their Pneuma and Wall of Fog off.
y Leave LoV to theMATK high wizards.
y Take the entire enemy LP off when we aredefending behind a barricade.
y During GVG, only ONE GB HWshould keep Fire Pillar between our LP and the enemy LP. Focus the
Pillars where there is less SG and MS damage from us. Dont use Fire
Pillar if you are the only GB HW on.
y Fire Pillars should beused like this and
not like this.
HIGH PRIESTS
y Preferably, keep a chatbox for guild and partymessages, another one for whispers (Friends) and other for party buffs
(in case of dispells).
y Every High Priest should keep hisparty buffed and notice when someone in the party get a Dispell. Buffing
people outside your party can be done too, but its not your priority.y Keep
Pneumas on your front line. This doesn't mean infront of LP, it meanson the actual characters since the cells get ganban'd away eventually.
y Beattentive to use Recovery when someone gets Frozen and use Cure when
someone gets Silence.

y Use Kyrie occasionally, no need tospam it. The person who receives Kyrie suffers an animation delay,similar to the one someone has when gets hit. Kyrie spam is like hit
spam, making the character have difficulties to move. So be careful withthat and other skills like Gloria, Magnificat, Angelus, that causes the
same issue.
y You can try to use Lex Divina on creators andHW, and use Lex Aeterna occasionally, but dont risk yourself too muchor focus in this. Your party needs you. Without the HP, all the party
gets affected, with no buffs, no status recovery, among all the other HP
functions.
PALADINS
y Keep a chatbox just for party buffs to alert whensomeone gets a Dispell.
y Maintain yourself on the center ofthe guild, on the SPP zone. NEVER stand out. Dont be a little bit
behind or a littler bit in front of the guild. Keep yourself on the
middle of the mob. The only exception is when you have to be on your
devotee range.
y Always renew Devotion and be attentive withDispell on the devotees, specially classes like creator, HW and
professor.y Dont let the shields off.y Remember:
Defender really slows down the move speed of the devotees, and its onlyeffective if you activate the buff and then renew the players devotion.
Therefore, theres no use in turn the shield on and off. You need torenew the Devotion to make the buff effective on the devotee.
y Knowwhen to use Defender. Dont keep it on the whole WoE, or when the guild
is rushing. Only use that skill if you feel its necessary, in case of
static defense or in a GVG where you are losing too much HP.
y UseGospel lvl 1 to take your own Slow Grace off.
y A goodcommunication with the devotees is important. Speak out when the devotee
is too forward, when you are receiving too much damage because of him,
when you die and even when the devotee is getting Dispelled too many
times. All that is important information to the devotee. The more you
talk, the better for both of you. Keep that in mind.

MINDBREAKER GUILD:
ALL members of this guild should stay away from the main guild mob to
facilitate the ground control. Dont be in the middle of the mob if you
dont want to be killed. Be wise and dont stand where you may get the
maximum damage from adversary guilds or ours.
Professor: Put all the damage HW on the
Friends List and maintain MB on them. Be attentive with our gypsies that
are asking for Dispell to take their Slow Grace off. Hold down with web
the adversary gypsies using Slow Grace behind us. All that is your
obligation.
Stalker: When casting SG on our guild, try
not to aim in the middle of the mob. Cast it in the frontline of the
guild, where the adversary guild is aiming. The MB guild recaller willbe the guild bodyguard too, impeding that the gypsies rush and surprises
us as well as acting like EC hunter.
