TRANSCRIPT
Joel Hebdon grew up in the farmland of Idaho where he served as student manager of his
high school shop, excelled in academics, fly fished and worked on potato farms. Several
eastern and west coast colleges recruited the high school standout, but his interests were
elsewhere and he decided to make a difference in the newly emerging environmental
engineering field.
