•Nicolaus Copernicus, a student from there, did studies ofthe universe and his ideas turned out right.
•It brought out the mature form of Polish literature, which was firstused by Mikolaj Rej, a famous Polish writer.

Industrial Revolution•Poland formed a whole with Russia in trade.
•Textile factories were formed, along with railroads, as therewas a large demand for Polish products.
•Agriculture changed. Landowners hired laborers and boughtmachines, rather then do it themselves.

•After WW1, Poles had hopes for a sovereign Poland, so theyprepared for an uprising.
•When the uprising took place, it replaced the German monarchywith the Weimar Republic.
•It is considered as the greatest Polish uprising.

•He revolutionized the universe as we know it, called the Copernicus Revolution.
•He was also a mathematician, a governor, and an economist
