Daryl Bachmeier ARTEKTA inc. - architects, Principal Architect

Bio: Daryl is a partner in a local architectural firm based in downtown Fargo. Moving back to the area 15 years ago after spending

time away in Georgia and Minneapolis, he is happily living in Fargo with his wife and four children ranging in age from 13 to 22.

Daryl enjoys various types of exercise, home projects, and spending time with his family in his free time. He is proud to attend

his kids’ sporting events and school activities whenever possible. Daryl and his wife have discovered that they really enjoy cruis-

es after sailing on their first one this year in celebration of their 25th wedding anniversary.

Jodi Bullinger Cass County Electric Cooperative, System Engineer

Bio: Jodi has worked at Cass County Electric Cooperative (CCEC) for 19 years, the last 12 years as System Engineer. She started in CCEC’s Dispatch Center as a Dispatcher in July of 1994. Today, she plans and designs the cooperative’s electrical distribution system for the best possible quality and reliability service for our members. Jodi’s also the “go-to” person on technical issues and consultation, and prepares the Construction Work Plan, Sectionalizing Study, and Long Range Plan. Jodi was born in Grand Marais, MN and attended high school in Duluth, MN. Currently, Jodi and her husband, Darin, live in Fargo. They are the proud parents of two children, Luke (11) and Jordan (10), who keep them very busy. Jodi loves spending time with her family, reading, quilting, and attending many of her children’s activities.

Bio: Brianna’s primary goal as the Sales Manager is to preform outside sales and represent the Courtyard by hitting the pavement

and meeting different people and companies. Being the new girl in town this position has the advantage for her to learn about

this community quickly. Brianna is from Monticello, Minnesota where her family still lives. She moved to Fargo from Duluth,

Minnesota in June of 2012 where she attended college. It was nice she didn’t have to go through much weather changes. In her

free time she enjoys traveling, recreational sports, and hanging out with friends & family. Every possible weekend she travels to

her family’s cabin to relax and spend time with them, this Brianna and Antahn’s favorite place to be in the entire world. Brianna

is extremely excited to get married in April of 2014 to her better half, Antahn, where they will live in South Fargo.

Chris Carey Moorhead Police Department, Lieutenant - Patrol Commander

Bio: Chris is a patrol commander with responsibilities to scheduling, internal investigations, new officer-field training program, bike

patrol, police explorers’ post, department training and assisting with department hiring. Chris developed a passion for the

outdoors while growing up in northern Minnesota. He was a proud employee of Unocal Corporation as a fishing guide at their

corporate retreat on Rainy Lake for 5 years. Chris is married to Bev, his college sweetheart and they have two children. Mikayla

(20) is a nursing student at Concordia and David (16) is a junior at Moorhead High. Chris and his family are proud Spuds that

reside in south Moorhead.

Bio: Brie directs day-to-day and strategic operations for oncology services in the West region of Essentia Health, including oversight

of outpatient infusion, medical oncology, hematology, radiation oncology, cancer research and cancer registry. A transplant to

the Fargo-Moorhead area, Brie recently bought her first home in Fargo in May 2013. In her free time, she returns to the Twin

Cities area to visit family, including a 7-month old (New Year’s baby) nephew. Brie also is commonly found at participating in

area sporting events, including coed and women’s softball, broomball, running events and billiards. She has run two half-

marathons, and is registered (and training!) for the full Fargo Marathon in May of 2014.

April Dennis Ulteig, Business Development Manager

Bio: April oversees client relationships and business development activities for Ulteig’s power, communications, and renewable

markets. Before moving to the Fargo-Moorhead region, April’s past employment included involvement with NASCAR and the

Airshow industry. After setting aside her large suitcase, April has learned to enjoy the simple things in life such as backyard

campfires, neighborhood walks with her dog, and movie nights with her husband. In her free time she enjoys gardening,

repainting furniture, and spending time outdoors (when the weather cooperates). April lives in beautiful south Fargo near

Lindenwood Park with her husband Shannon and her energetic, 2.5 year old golden retriever, Jesse. April and Shannon are

expecting their first child at the end of January.

Bio: Lee is a project coordinator for JLG Architects in their downtown Fargo office where he leads project teams and enjoys working with clients

to design solutions for their building projects throughout our city and region. Lee grew up on a farm just southwest of West Fargo, attended

school in West Fargo, and received his Architecture degree from North Dakota State University. Lee and his wife Lia were friends from high

school and got married during college despite the fact that he is a “Bison” and she attended that “other university” up north. Lia is an

Occupational Therapist at Sanford Health in Fargo. They have recently moved back to the farm where he grew up and enjoy their free time

keeping up with their three children and are completing an addition and renovation project to their farmhouse. Lia currently works with

Sanford Health in Fargo and is also the master organizer at home. Lee has spent his entire life in the Fargo-Moorhead-West Fargo area and

made a conscious decision along with his wife Lia to live and raise their family right here. They both have deep family roots here and share a

love for our region. Lee is passionate about design and architecture and also has been a volunteer with several local organizations over the

years. He enjoys watching sports, reading, and most of all, spending time with friends and family at the lake or at home.

Josh Erickson Hilton Garden Inn Fargo, Assistant General Manager

Bio: Josh oversees the Guest Service and Housekeeping functions at the Hilton Garden Inn and is also responsible for assisting the

General Manager in the overall operations of the hotel and convention center, including HR, Accounting, F&B Service, Sales, and

Revenue Management. Josh has been with the hotel since September of 2009, when he started as a Night Auditor. When the

hotel was purchased by Raymond Management Company (Middleton, WI), Josh was promoted to his current position as

Assistant General Manager. Josh spends his spare time with his wife Laura, of 4 years, and twin 1 year old boys, and of course,

the family dog, Ginger, a 3 year old Cocker Spaniel/Cavalier King Charles Spaniel cross. We enjoy playing games, going on walks,

and spending time with family – both sets of grandparents live within an hour. In his personal time, Josh enjoys reading, playing

basketball, going to movies, and cooking.

Jamie Fay Eide Bailly LLP, Audit Senior Associate

Bio: Jamie performs audits of local government entities to meet their reporting requirements. She has more than four years of public

accounting experience leading audit engagement teams. Jamie moved to the Fargo-Moorhead region to attend college and

decided to plant roots. Her family lives in the Black Hills of South Dakota and her husband’s family is spread across Minnesota. In

her free time she likes to play piano, spend time with family and friends, take her dog on walks, and go on motorcycle rides with

her husband. Jamie is currently living in Dilworth where her and her husband recently purchased their first home.

Wade Frank, PE KLJ, Director of Structural Engineering Services

Bio: Wade oversees a group of ten structural engineers and engineering technicians who design a variety of structures throughout

the region including buildings, bridges, retaining walls, floodwalls and other heavy civil structures. Wade is married to Allison, a

pharmacist at the Sanford Anticoagulation Clinic in Fargo. After spending their first few years after college in the Twin Cities,

they returned to Fargo-Moorhead in October of 2000 and begin their careers at their current employers. They have been

married for 16 years and have 3 daughters, ages 3, 8 and 10. He is very proud to be the son of a retired farmer and truly enjoyed

helping his dad on the farm whenever he could. In his free time Wade enjoys reading, running (not really but he does it),

hunting, attending NDSU football and basketball games, and spending time with his family at the lake during the summer.

Bio: Sarah supervises the Case Aide staff for both the Village Business Institute and Regional Counseling services. She is the primary

administrator. Future professional development plans include obtaining her PHR certification in April 2014. A military kid, Sarah

Bio: Eeva is an attorney with the Vogel Law Firm. She concentrates her practice on debtor/creditor/collection representation, and

general civil litigation. Eeva is a glutton for punishment--she has taken (and passed) four bar exams. She is currently licensed to

practice in the state courts of North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana and Wyoming, and the U.S. District Court for the District of

North Dakota. Eeva and her husband, Matthew, are the proud parents to two beautiful and busy girls, ages 4 and 1. Eeva

Bio: Originally from Watertown, SD, Phil has lived in the FM area for 11 years now. He came to town to attend MSUM, fell in love with the area and has resided here ever since. He put himself through college while working at Halberstadt’s Men’s clothing store, selling suits to area professionals and developing his interpersonal and sales skills. He has been a loyal employee of US Bank for 7 years, holding various positions in the same office. From the teller line to the Branch Manager roll he has loved working for such a great company. He is Blessed to marry his best friend Jesse on August 17th. He views himself as a bit of an over achiever as she is an amazing woman who makes every part of his life better. In his free time, Phil enjoys everything that has to do with sports. Particularly watching NDSU and NFL football, play golf and running. But if it is a sport he will watch it. Jared Heller Advanced Engineering and Environmental Services, Inc. (AE2S), Assistant Operations Manger

Bio: Jared is the Assistant Operations Manager for the Fargo office of AE2S. Born and raised in Fargo, Jared grew up on the north

side of Fargo spending time at the local ball diamonds and the local golf courses. He graduated from Fargo North High School in

2000. He attended North Dakota State University and graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering. He enjoys the Fargo-

Brianne Hoffman Roers Construction & Development, Marketing Director

Bio: Brianne is the director of marketing for Roers Development and Construction. Originally from Bismarck, Brianne has been in the

FM area since 2001. She enjoys travel and often travels to Las Vegas to visit her sister, brother-in-law, 2 nieces and 2 nephews

who are stationed there with the Air Force. As the proud mother of two young boys, Holden (5) and Bennett (3), Brianne is

always on the go! Between swimming lessons, training for races, planning events and maintaining the marketing full time with

Roers, it’s rare she has a minute to spare, but when she does, she enjoys time out with friends or entertaining at home. Brianne

Matthew Lunde wears many hats as he works at four different jobs. At Globe University, Matt teaches 4 classes per quarter. He

taught an Introduction Environmental Design/Architecture class to freshmen designers for 3 years. He also manages two

Bio: Steve is based out of Fargo and oversees the management of 48 hotels in the northern and eastern states for TMI Hospitality.

He was raised in Hawley, MN and attended NDSU before his hotel career brought him to Montana in 1994, Illinois in 1997 and

then back to the Fargo area in 2008. He travels about 50% of his time visiting the hotels in his group or working with TMI’s

Bio: I have worked in the medical field most of my adult life. I became a Registered Nurse in 1981 and worked at MeritCare for 25 years as a primary nurse, charge nurse, and the clinical coordinator all on the Rehabilitation unit which I loved the patients and co-workers there! I presently work at Hospice of the Red River Valley as a clinical manager and have found my passion. I grew up in Linton ND – yes Lawrence Welk country on a farm with 7 siblings. We were taught at an early age the meaning of hard work but I wouldn’t have had it any other way. We are a very close family and spend as much time together as we can. I married Richard Pfau in 1985 and we have two boys. Richard, 25, who was in the marines for 6 years and is now pursuing a career in nursing in Minneapolis and presently works as an EMT. Michael just turned 20 years old and completed two years at UND in Grand Forks and will be doing a semester in France starting in September – how exciting and we will be going there over Christmas in Paris, France to visit him. He is majoring in Public Relations. We have one dog- Jack a shitzu and we love him dearly. I enjoy running, biking, reading, and family time. I ran my first half marathon this year!

Adam Wendorf Otter Tail Corporation, Financial Operations Strategy Manager

Bio:

Adam works for Otter Tail Corporation in an analyst-type role for the non-utility business segment (manufacturing/construction companies),

called Varistar. He works with the Varistar companies to help analyze financial results, validate business forecasts and budgets, provide

financial modeling and strategic analysis, and supports other project work as needed. Adam grew up in central Wisconsin, and initially, found

his way to the Fargo-Moorhead area through college (Concordia) in the mid to late 90’s. Although he never thought he’d settle here with a

family, he’s always been very fond of the F-M community—and outside of the “sometimes” harsh winters, he thinks Fargo-Moorhead is a

great place to raise a family. In his spare time, Adam is involved with his kids and loves to coach sports. He has coached baseball for three
