Joe has worked as a professional photographer for more than 30 years. His communication skill set allows him work closely with producers and directors to achieve the precise imagery to suit the marketing requirements for the project he or any of his team are working on. He is able to tackle challenges regardless of limitations, offering creative solutions in as fast a turnaround as possible – he is decisive, innovative and achieves high production value in all the work he does, irrespective of budget. Joe has an impressive list of accolades to his credit ranging from cover images and editorials for industry publications such as Empire with his special ‘Judge Dredd’ assignment to an exhibition at one of the newly renovated Highline Studios in New York with a range of iconic images from the Emmy nominated biblical series he worked on with Mark Burnett and Roma Downey.

PHILOSOPHY Making a film is collaboration… a mindful, emotional engagement of all the cast and crew working together to each make their valuable contribution to what eventually appears on the screen. Motion picture stills, as the foundation of the publicity and marketing campaign, have to communicate, at a glance, all values of the project – its essential DNA – from story to headline actors, genre to production quality, and beyond. Capturing these elements in a range of distinctive images – this is the challenge peculiar to the art of motion picture still photography and that’s what I am passionate about.
