Job Description
Job Title: Electronics TechnicianSalary: £20,000 - £26,826Job Summary:
The repair, overhaul and test of industrial electronic control system and servo motors to component level
Use of software to run drives, PLCs, HMIs etc and the ability to create / modify programs would be desirable
Using circuit diagrams and reverse engineering techniques to inform the design and build of test rigs
Targets and goals will be set initially and reviewed regularly (in line with current company KPIs)
Working to ISO 9001:2015 Quality Standards and Procedures to achieve Zenics overall Quality Objectives
Zenics Ltd is based in Leek, Staffordshire and is an SME providing a specialist industry leading repair service.
Accountable to:The Production Manager
Responsible for: The diagnosing of faults. Repair and overhaul of industrial electronic equipment,
printed circuit boards and servomotors. The testing of repaired equipment. Keeping accurate records for completed work and work in progress. Communication with Production Manager and colleagues. Acquisition of technical data.
Work activities: To work in an environment of continuous improvement utilising principals of Kaizen,
TQM and Problem solving. Attending regular team meetings where ideas and suggestions are valued and acted
upon where clear benefits are apparent.

Assisting in building test rigs. Purchasing required devices. Corporate work wear and behaviour standards are upheld Assisting other technicians Assist with plant maintenance and help to develop the laboratory
Performance Standards:To efficiently and consistently rework those products issued.

Person SpecificationElectronics Technician
Potential candidates should hold a recognised Qualification in Electronics Engineering (or related discipline), this includes the reaching the standard required by Zenics through an internal training programme.
Potential candidates also need to show evidence of the following:
