Job Title: Public Relations and Engagement Executive Date: September 2019 Reporting to: Head of Marketing Overview CIArb is passionate about promoting a harmonious society, helping people and organisations avoid, manage and resolve conflict through our global network of over16,000 members. We are the leading global professional membership organisation representing the interests of alternative dispute practitioners worldwide. As a not-for-profit, UK registered charity, CIArb works in the public interest through an international network of 40 branches. Job Purpose This role will drive CIArb’s digital content and campaigns and be responsible for promoting our products and services through PR and social media. The role is responsible for creating digital content to promote CIArb activities and provide effective support in order to raise the profile of CIArb and increase the level of engagement with key stakeholders. The role will work with all internal teams to help them achieve their objectives. Major Objectives:

• Work closely with the Head of Marketing to develop and lead a PR and Campaign strategy to promote and raise the profile of CIArb activities.

• Contact members to write member profiles/thought leadership articles. • Support media relations activities, including preparing press releases. • Respond to media enquiries and ensure deadlines are met. • Input into website copywriting, content, blog posts and social media activity. • To produce, and support production of key external e-newsletters and publications. • To manage the production of marketing materials, writing and proofreading copy, and liaising with

designers and printers. • To act as brand champion, ensuring consistent use of the corporate brand.

provide them with excellent service. • To communicate knowledge and feedback to relevant colleagues. • Meet and exceed teams’ customer service standards. • Understand situations from the customers’ perspective so that appropriate and relevant solutions

can be identified.

Summary terms and conditions Contract: Temporary Contract Salary: Competitive Salary Annual leave: 25 days holidays per annum plus UK bank holidays Pension: Minimum 8% Employer contribution with minimum 2% Employee contribution Healthcare: Company scheme subject to terms and conditions.
