1. Professor(Dental Material, Oral Biology, Oral Pathology, Community Dentistry, Prosthodontics, Orthodontic, Oral Surgery, Periodontal, Oral Medicine)BPS 20 / CONTRACTQualification: BDS.(Pak) or equivalent qualification recognized / registered by the PM&DC.

Level III Post graduation like D.Sc./Ph.D/FCPS/M.D.S(Pak) M.Phil or equivalent postgraduate qualification recognised by the council in respective basic subject

Experience: Candidates should have at least three years teaching experience as an Associate Professor in the respective subject provided that total experience as an Assistant and Associate Professor is not less then eight years.

Or

Nine years teaching experience as an Assistant Professor in the respective subject.

Publication: Candidates should have at least 5 research papers be published in standard dental/medical journal as approved by PM&DC.45 Years

3.Assistant Professor(Dental Material, Oral Biology, Oral Pathology, Community Dentistry, Prosthodontics, Orthodontic, Oral Surgery, Periodontal, Oral Medicine)BPS 18 / CONTRACTQualification: BDS.(Pak) or equivalent qualification recognized / registered by the PM&DC.

Level III and level II b Post graduation like D.Sc./Ph.D/FCPS/M.D.S(Pak) M.Phil, MCPS or equivalent postgraduate qualification recognised by the council in respective basic subject

Experience: Candidates should have at least five years teaching experience as Lecturer/Demonstrator in the Dental teaching institution postgraduate qualification to be preferred.Publication: Nil35 Years

4.Associate Professor

(Nephrology Division, Department of Medicine, Division of Urology & Department of Surgery)BPS 20-19/ ContractQualification: Candidates should have MBBS with FCPS/M.S/M.D (in respective subject) Or other equivalent qualification in the speciality recognized/registered by the PM&DC. OR

Qualification: MBBS with MD/MS/FCPS/MDS/Ph.D/M.Phil. (Old Courses of 4-Years) (Pakistan) / Membership of Royal Colleges (UK) / Diplomat of American Board or equivalent international terminal qualifications (as determined by HEC) in the Clinical Medical Science disciplines.

Experience: Five year teaching experience as an assistant professor in the relevant subject.

OR

Experience: 8 years teaching / research experience in an HEC recognized university or post-graduate institution. OR

8 years teaching / research experience in an HEC recognized university or post-graduate institution with 3 years post-terminal experience of teaching.40 Years

5. Assistant Professor

(Department of Anesthesiology)BPS 19-18/ ContractQualification: Candidates should have MBBS with FCPS/M.S/M.D (in respective subject) Or other equivalent qualification in the speciality recognized/registered by the PM&DC. OR

Qualification: MBBS with MD/MS/FCPS/MDS/Ph.D/M.Phil. (Old Courses of 4-Years) (Pakistan) / Membership of Royal Colleges (UK) / Diplomat of American Board or equivalent international terminal qualifications (as determined by HEC) in the Clinical Medical Science disciplines.

Experience: Three years teaching experience in the respective subject as a senior

registrar in a in a recognized institution if qualification is general. No experience is

required in case of sub-speciality qualification holders.35 Years

1. Only Sindh domicile are eligible.2. Application should be sent along with two photographs, one set of attested photocopy of relevant documents in a sealed envelop, with three current referral letters and brief curriculum vitae.

3. Candidate should clearly mention the criteria in which applying (PMDC or HEC).

4. Incomplete application in any manner will be rejected.

5. All information will be kept confidential.

6. In case of larger number of candidates for any post, a Pre Interview Test (MCQ) will be held to short list the Candidates.

7. Please clearly mention the name of post on the right top of envelop.

8. Institution reserves the right to reject any or all the Applications.

9. Only short listed candidates will be entertained for interview.

10. Applicant currently in Government service should apply through proper channel.

11. Every application must carry a pay order of Rs.1500/- (Non refundable) in favor of Registrar Dow University of Health Sciences, Karachi.

12. Age relaxation is subject to approval of scrutiny committee / selection board.

13. No TA/DA will be admissible.
