Joana is a Portuguese graphic & web designer since 2010. But, when R&D meets communication and design, here she is! She worked for 2 years at Instituto de Telecomunicações do Porto at Engineering University of Porto and now she is working at Medical University of Porto as a graphic designer. Yet, she dreams to become a design manager to transform promising ideas into commercial ventures. In persuasion of her dream, she studied Creative Industries Management at Portuguese Catholic University (UCP), in Porto. Here, she had the opportunity of researching on the topic ‘Design Thinking related with R&D Process Management and Knowledge Transfer for Creative Industries’. This study gave her three opportunities, being invited as an Assistant Professor at UCP to teach Design Thinking, creating the platform www.creativityissues.com, and be invited by LAMBERT Academic Publishing, to publish her dissertation as a book.CreativityTRANSCRIPT
