With the J-SEL-1105, Smart Engine Lift – JMS

once more proves to be ahead with innovative and

fl exible GSE solutions:

• The system consists of 4 identical compact lifting pillars (attached to the engine transport stand) plus

a mobile control panel; engine removal/installation

is conducted through precise PLC-controlled

manipulation of all lifting pillars

• every lifting pillar executes its movements by

three servo-driven gearmotors with absolute

stroke measurement system allowing highest precision and repeatability in operation

• due to the elimination of any hydraulic component no risk of leakage or oil spill during

operation or transportation

• load measuring devices in every lifting pillar

allow a precise monitoring of loads induced

including the control of pre-load requirements

during the installation process

• lift, lateral and longitudinal travel as well as all

angular adjustments (adjustability of the engine

is provided in all 6 axis) provides you with the

highest fl exibility when removing/installing an aero engine

• the control panel features an intuitive MMI which allows quick guidance through all functions

of the engine removal/installation procedures

including an aircraft/engine database. Safe and

logic control levels are guiding the user step-by-

step through the entire operation

• All 4 lifting pillars can be conveniently tilted for air transportation and loaded/stored on standard

ULD pallets (one J-SEL-1105 system requires

2 ULD pallets size P1P, PAG, PAJ) for airlift in any

common wide-body aircraft’s cargo bay
